=BLACKWOLF=
http://www.ubuntu.com/ New Ubuntu's been released. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion :)

James78
Great update. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the new KDE that comes with it automatically handles the functions of Compiz Fusion, and it seems near to impossible to have Compiz Fusions Advanced Desktop Settings manager take back over instead, along with Emerald window manager. It's frustrating.
=BLACKWOLF=
I'm not a fan of KDE myself. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, I just prefer Gnome :) I've come across a couple of bugs on my EEE PC (speakers crackle when muted), but nothing we can't live with. Duality
KDE 4.1 just seems a little un-polished to me... like in the notification area of the taskbar, the icons have boxes round them, like their image files were not colour matched to the background... im really picky about things like that - so I stick to Gnome :)
numbnutts
Is there still a Punkbuster issue playing games like COD4 ? Never have been able to get it to work with PB(ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS version)
=BLACKWOLF=
PunkBuster will not run under Wine. Games with native Linux ports work without any issues (RtCW, ET, ETQW etc).
