Mod/BF2 server

Our second server is set up so we can switch it between BF2 and mods, it shuts down and restarts as a non ranked server for the mod. The thing is that when we restart it in mod mode it stops streaming is this going to be a problem? Should I remove the server?

 

We would really like to have it protected when it is in ranked mode but we want to beadle to play mods as well.

If its the same as ours then when you restart as a mod server it has its own set of PB configs. Do the standard PBB config setup and it should stream OK.

That's the problem the mod server does not have the /pb/pbsv.cfg folder like the ranked one has or the /pb/pbsvlog.cfg.

All that is required for a server to be configured for streaming is punkbuster enabled and the relevant commands sent to initiate streaming.

When you have the mod running send these commands one line at a time via bf2cc;

 

pb_sv_writecfg pbucon.use

pb_sv_restart

... wait 20 seconds
