The effects of burn pits in the deployed locations (Iraq and Afghanistan) are ones that stay in the shadows....medical folks are hesitant to link it to any health issues deployers may have. However, as more and more folks come forward with severe health problems the eyes of many U.S. Senators and Representatives have been directed to find answers. They have been pressuring DoD to investigate and they have also recently announced a new Bill heading toward being a law to protect future deployers from the effects of burn pits in deployed locations.
