I visit codadmin.com alot . problem is that most of that you just said is swahilli to me and compounded by FTP madness. Im not lazy, just new and worried Im going to trash my server or config files. In all fairness I didnt actually ask for help with the config, it was a reference to how much help I would need with harder things , streaming the server. Hopefully its easier, that would be good. No, it's not common knowledge and I appreciate you cluing me in. I still dont see how anyone could hack your server through the use of a secondry program specifically PB, obviously other progs could. Tim I can change my config to run CTF from TDM so common knowlege doesnt really apply to me :-). Im working on it though. DC

So if little timmy dink boy comes on late at night to test his newly purchased POS hack and there no admins on we have to rely on the auto settingd if any for a SS? That leads into my second question, What's a power player and how do I become one? Apparently power players can take SS if its enabled on the server.

I could be wrong but I think it was a typo, I think how it was supposed to read is, "you can increase its efficiency by some add-ons provoded by this site". IE streaming info from your server. DC Speaking of noobs my server is now up and running, I am still tryig to config it to run in CTF and not TDM so I will need LOADS of help to get it streaming. I have a question and it may be a dumb one, the only dumb question is the one not asked , right? I have heard this statement alot, mostly from admins and even a few ex-members of my clan from back in cod 1.1. "I only downloaded the cheat to know what I was looking for as a admin." Would it be possible to put our videos of each cheat from a 1st and 3rd person perspective so that anyone wanting to know what they were looking for would be able to view the video. I can also see how this might inspire the potential hacker to seek out the hack. Your thoughts? I can generally ban the jerk causing trouble before he can complete the sentence F off Im out of this lame server. Yes you are son, good day. I dont use it for play though, theres no good jump key. Woo Hoo they lifted my ban. 2 questions fozzer, PB doesnt have to look at the exact path C/program files/cod to find the UO folder? Seems if that were the case then it would kick me from TWL for having two UOs installed, Ill ask TWL its their whitelist. 2nd question after answering that I had not been kicked I decided to see if it were just the servers I was playing on. I got kicked but not wiht the usual PLAYER has been HW Banned I have seen so much of. What it said was a windows message, COD.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tested it and it was only the PB servers. Is that a usual message or do I know have something else wrong with my comp. No its not bannable but a list of 20 PB kicks for the same resone doesnt look good for anyone. I posted here becasue anyone searching for information about this kick may eventually end up here. Them reading this would be better than the information I recieved which was to run PB_enable security 0 which did not fix the problem. As I stated before, the game admins insist its your problem not theirs.

Admin please most topic to codUO specific, thanks, im an idiot. Since COD UO may be on it's way out this may be too late. Some of you, like me keep recieving the message listed above, when you ask the admin about it they tell you"you have installed the game improperly", not quite true but close. The MD5 can be adjusted by the server admins to check for certain violations of their choosing. One of the violations that the MD5 tool will pull up is some of the files found on the 1.51b patch for UO. This is a server side patch and not intended for clients to have on their comps. The 1.51b was downloaded by servers after installing the 1.51 patch and was designed at stopping a console command that some jerks were using to crash servers, I wont say it here becasue believe it or not some servers are still running 1.51. Solution: save all if any custom maps or mods you have obtained in the order they were in your main or UO folder, remove UO from your system and run a clean install of UO. Return to file planet and when faced with the 1.51 or the 1.51b dont get goofy and think you may want to run a server. Just get the 1.51, you can save the 1.51B in your documents folder for later if you actually do get around to setting up a server. Reinstall the 1.51 patch. Return your maps and mods to where you took them from and everything will be roses from then on out. Your favorites will disapere but I dont know which file to save for that, sorry. Possibly hunk usage but ask someone smarter than me. MD5 tool mismatch will also kick for real violations (you know who you are) and at that point your will have to file a ticket with EB, can't help you there. DC

No sorry I have not found a server yet htat I can not play on except 10-78 and BH. I cant enter them at all. I get a you have been banned by the admin message. Perhaps your competition is slacking? You are right Fozzer theres nothing that can be done, Im a plumber and we have a saying about arguing with inspectors about our work and it somewhat applies here. Wresteling with an inspector is like wrestling apig in the mud, only difference is the pig enjoys it. I need to wait for EB to do their jobs. Thank You Fozzer DC PS. the whitelist is only the stock files that came with UO, no mods no custom maps just the 8 or so stick files. PAM version for TWL, PB kicks you for whitelist violations thus disabling anyone to exe. files in their UO folder. It's the best idea they have come up with for competition but for a custom map gamer like myself, with over 300 maps and 8 diff. mods it can be hell. These PAM mod PB kicks also go to the repository. Like my svr rcon4, an rcon prog tha Ghost swore I wouldnt be kicked for. Sure thing Jana.

I have been hearing alot of of people talking about a way to increase their FPS. They are clicking the option for SLI optimization. I have SLI and it splits the information between both my vid cards, these people do not however. It seems that by sending half the information to a card that is not there and the server expecting to recieve information that isnt there that PB would view this as some form of hack. thes people are running faster because their game is only recieving and sending halt the information thus 2x fps. I cant even imagine that the PB SSs would come out properly. Im some what of a noob and this is only as I understand it in my head. What do you guys think? Not wether its a hack but if PB will see it as a hack and should people be warned? DC

I went on to a forum yesterday that esentially turned out to be a BASH EB forum. Alot of F this and F that and PB can yada yada yada. One thing that made me chuckle was one guy in particular complaing of a hardware ban for using a cracked version of the game. What he was whinning about was that he wasn't hacking that he had only played a cracked gaem, noithing to recieve a HW ban for. I had to speak, using a cracked game is hacking, you hacked into the game and removed the registration information and cd key. then put it back up on the internet for 10000 people to use with the same cd key gen and all incurring the same offence as anyone that used it. It is not only hacking but worse, theft. You are depriving the game programmers the money they deserve for their hard work in providing you with the game you are now complaining about. Should using a cracked game incure a HW ban? Does using a cracked game incur a HW ban or was this g.......... CD Key Gen Lmao it probably wansn't him. Moral: Pay if you want to play or go rob a convienience store, its the same thing. DC

No, every one of them was me and what you failed to notice is that allmost every one is on the same server. MD5 tool mismatch comes from installing the 1.51b patch on a client, its a server patch so the md5 dont match. Most of the names were created when I was looking on my clan except the HR Puff N stuff names which my clan created because we dodnt want players on our recruiting servers to feel intimidated by mass clan prescence. I have nothing to hide on that list. I can show you screenshots that I posted in our leaders forums of my aliases in servers with HR members. Actually I am as innocent as I say I am. You posted the link point to which offense makes me a "bad person"/ hacker. The whitelist files were on my own server , trying to figure out which files to remove from UO to comply with the list.

In hard ware bans area you posted this statement, "If you want to lift your ban , use ban appeal. AFAIK even if we clean your GUID, information about PB Hack will stay there because we never modify repository logs." If my name is ever cleared from the 130263 then I would not have a problem taking the steps to get another guid and start fresh. Eveything on my guid is novel, theres nothing on there I am ashamed of. While I am under suspicion of hacking I will keep my current guid, that's just the type of guy I am. DC

TBH I havent found a server yet that I couldnt enter other than 10-78 and BH because they share info together but from what I have gathered from your forums is that if theyre not streaming or updating then their PB is allmost worthless for keeping hackers off. Why run PB if youre not going to update or stream?

Im sorry I dont quite believe/understand that. 130263 bans you for interferring with the normal operation of PB. What other interferrence is there other than blocking? Seems to me that PB works exactly like a trojan virus or a spy bot. It is stored on your comp and periodically sends out information without your permission at the time of sending. How would an anti virus prog or spy bot killer not see PB as a threat and block it or delay it until you released it. "PB NEVER bans on a negative", then what is the definition of interferring with PB? Im going to take a guess and say that you don't know the answer to that, no one does. Convienint ,DC
