I personally dont play on a server that restricts a player by what they say i.e. swearing.. or certain words they deem 'bad'. also at times I dont like "stock" maps go for custom maps (find the one that the majority of players LIKE) an example in bf2 i Only play Dalian Plant cuz its the one i like the most.

that specific violation is not a cheat. as noted here http://www.pbbans.com/forums/A-Reference-G...-an-t46672.html Only violations starting with the #50000 and higher are Cheat Related. also if you're streaming via hub you dont have todo anything its fully automated so when/if someone is caught cheating it will be sent to our server instantly and processed, then banned on all the servers within seconds. *edit* im a slow typer at 2:30am siskin answered it :P

There seems to be some confusion here, this person's ban is a legit Violation, afaik. the question was raised " hes streaming to pbbans and psb why isnt he banned blah blah" i got this when i did a search via MSI --> 207.210.95.75:16567 was not found <-- thats why that violation is not on our MBI :). Now for this specific violation: It's not that we DONT ban for this violation cuz we do!, Roadwarrior is correct however with md5/cvar scans PsB scans for outdated crap which has been long detected, so why waste resources to scan for it if its detected? when it gets detected Authentic Violations as such this one (gamehack #xxxx).. gets reported and end up on the mbi/mbl etc.

I heard aliens took over yawn.be and turned it into a WoW Gold Farming Site, but then again i also won a million dollars .. now if you're talking about the password thing, i can think of a few reasons why there saying this :P either their SQL db got hacked, or someone setup a cloned yawn.be site (so to speak) and nabbed peoples login/password info etc.. etc etc

all hardware bans are issued by EvenBalance and no one else.. You would have to contact EvenBalance. PBBANS nor PsB can issue Hardware Bans Topic closed.

we ban by GUID and not IP however that does not mean we cant "see" if your the same person linked to a different guid with a same ip#

quick stats made by me! 99.98% of the Bans placed on pbbans are authentic/legit bans 0.01% are lifted bans due to EvenBalance stateing that it was an error on their end (fale positives/whatever) the other 0.01% are appeals that were granted based on the proof provided by the complaintent and or w/ evenbalance support. so to sum it up as bob said.. Minimal at the best!

actually I've stopped using Xfire for the simple fact it is well known to cause 'some' issues with games, I had damn near the same problem with a NON pb related game (warcraft 3) it would consistantly crash where as without xfire running it would run fine.. The developers of xfire ended up fixing it but still I would Knock out any 3rd party apps and try :)

open up console via ` and then type pb_myguid and push enter it will give you a hash thats your guid

Sounds like me sorta :P I liked my old Logitech 3 button (scroll button) it worked great it was light and worked perfect.. I've got a Logitech G5 and some Saitek gaming mouse that i use now.. the G5 is nice but soo many buttons, some games i accidentally hit the wrong damn button and it does something i didnt want todo at the time :P Oops sorry didnt mean to launch that grenade at your head....

when I use to run a server I specfically set it so time nudge IN 0, as in some cases by doing -20 etc it makes the player a bit jumpy / hard to shoot at.

it's possible that the server your connecting to is using an old MD5 hash for and older version of the game, and hence the MD5 Mismatch. However if you've been tinkering around to bypass the medic 'training' then its valid :P

if you're using a router try this.. first try directly connecting your Highspeed to your main computer and see if you're getting the same error. if no error then read below. Some routers have issues with punkbuster if your router is one listed below make sure you have the following done: Linksys - possible solution: Use firmware 1.44.2 Motorola - possible solution: Update to latest firmware Netgear - possible solution: Disable SPI (statefull packet inspection) (i've heard d-link's also have issues not sure the problem there though i use to use one and had no problems) you may need to adjust the routing to include ports used by PB's auto-update feature. PunkBuster Clients use outgoing UDP Port 24349 to get security info from the PunkBuster Master Servers, PunkBuster Servers use UDP Ports 24349 and 24305. Second: If you're getting an error while being directly connected to your highspeed (no router) read below also if your using Nortons <Enter one of there craptacular product names here> you will need to either correctly set it up to work in conjunction with PB and the game or just Uninstall it and use a real protection software

I know what program causes this its not so much a cheat its more of an exploit if im thinking of the right program.. on 2.60 this exploit can cause servers to crash 2.60b is not affected by the 'crash' part afaik. Not sure we can do anything about this however all i can suggest right now is to IP / Subnet ban him and to have the SGA of your server contact us.

thats pretty kewl maydax got a question however, is it possible to somehow get that information into your server for instance something like.. xxxxxx player was the last newb caught on our server via rss/xml feed of some sort? i know thats pretty big generalized question :D
