only script I would ban a person for is (sniper) no recoil script. and anyone who tells me they dont work in et can die in a fire cuz i know they work i've tested em out. all other scripts nothing within the game variables that will give a person an advantage.. I do however always set time nudge to BE 0 anyone with a negative time nudge gets kicked off the server. those players can whine and go elsewhere for all i care..

2.55 sucks its that simple.. upgrade to 2.60b at least then your not as prone to getting attacked.. also if he/she wants rcon/ftp info etc its not hard to get in 2.55 where as 2.60b you cannot get rcon/ftp info (that bug/exploit was fixed in 2.60b) Nothing we can do about someone crashing your server, especially if your server is not streaming to pbbans..

Generic Scan doesnt require cvar lists to be loaded. I wont get into detail other then it makes cheaters get caught cuz they think there all that and more till their private hack gets detected..

yes you can stream Ranked servers , there is no regulation for that :) You would have to ask your hoster for the pbvss folder access.. you can issue all the commands thru bf2cc, almost all of our bf2 servers are ranked http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19266 check there and scroll down to the bf2 section on how to setup your server to stream to the pbbans hub :)

How to ban by IP using old Q3 rcon method If the bad guys IP is static then there is no problem , first thing to check is if the filterban variable is on or off; /rcon seta g_filterban 0/1 (0 = IP banning is off 1 = IP banning is on) next we add the llama's IP /rcon addIP 312.27.48.132 (pb_sv_banmask 312.27.48.132 has the same effect) job done. note: If you use the banmask pb command the IP ban is added to your pbbans.dat just like normal bans. if his IP is dynamic you need to do a little more work .. first stage is to collect some IP addresses he connects with .. it will look something like this; 312.27.48.120 312.27.48.38 312.27.32.12 312.27.32.89 312.27.48.10 312.27.48.91 312.27.32.140 notice that the common numbers are 312.27.48 and 312.27.32 ... what we do now is ban all IP's within that range like this /rcon addIP 312.27.48 /rcon addIP 312.27.32 this will filter all IP's in the range of 312.27.48.0 through 312.27.48.255 and 312.27.32.0 through 312.27.32.255 this effectively bans your lamer without banning a whole IP range that affects a lot of innocent people if we just ban the whole IP range /rcon addIP 312.27 this bans all IP's from 312.27.48.0 through 312.27.255.255 ( we get 65,000 people by multiplying 255x255) your call , its your server, ban 65,000 in one stroke or do a little work and ban a llama All the above IP's are fictitious and for demo purposes only but if you are prepared to put in the effort an effective ban can be applied to anyone regardless of wether the IP is static or dynamic another option (and generally prefered) is to use PB_SV_BanMask [iP Address / Subnet Mask] Permanently bans players from joining the server from the specified IP Address / Subnet Mask; for example: issuing PB_SV_BanMask "12.34." will cause PB to deny access to all players trying to join from an IP Address that begins with "12.34."; These bans are written to the pbbans.dat file just like bans issued with the PB_SV_Ban command
