  1. Adding a sig with your clan's info on it is not a problem.
  2. Non-bannable. Related to Vista/driver issues and potential PB-communication errors. Considered clean.
  3. The software being referred to in the above link is client-side only. You'd have to basically hope the other player(s) are using it, as opposed to server-sided software like PB forcing players to turn it on in order to just join a PB-enabled server. I'll stick with PB, personally.
  4. Appears to be a valid detection. Anything over a 50000 series hack is up to evenbalance.com to verify as a false detection via troubleticket.
  5. /pb_sv_plist
  6. Evenbalance bans are global, and thus not added to private ban-lists. Other AC-sites sometimes choose to scan for same/similar bannable offences, and as a result, those detections will end up in their private list as well as on the evenbalance global list. Simply put, if evenbalance is already detecting it, why scan for it again? It becomes a redundancy that just adds one more check to your server that's already being run in the first place. In a matter of speaking, it'd be like washing your car, and then doing it again 5 minutes later to make sure it's clean. We try to keep the scans for cvars/MD5's to a minimum to keep things efficient and tidy. Many server-admin run dual-streaming, and that is always an option. You'll find that no two AC-sites work exactly the same way. Which is better? Not really my place to say. What I do know, is that both work pretty hard to keep cheaters off our servers, and at the end of the day, we as gamers are better off for it.
  7. PsB and PBBans run different scans. At PBBans, we don't add checks that evenbalance already detects and bans for, thus saving on redundancy.
  8. You're banned over at www.punksbusted.com Go ask them. http://www.punksbusted.com/cgi-bin/members...mp;query=Search
  9. Likely you just ran into a local ban on the one server you tried. That may not even be personally related to you, if someone with a similar IP has connected to that server in the past and has been banned with a banmask, it might affect other players with a similar IP as well. One of the hazards of using a banmask in the first place, but at times it is necessary for server admin to do so.
  10. My server isn't modded, so no downloads. 208.167.248.183:28960 Mine's also set to auto-update the ban list, so that should happen as bans are added/removed.
  11. Person 3 with 100 points can simply veto the other two. The other two can still use commands, as needed.
  12. You can also send it to benwaypbbanscom to provide our coders with the cheat for break-down and potential future checks.
  13. That may work for you. Not everyone runs WindowBlinds either. Generally, the API-kick, from what I've seen, comes from one of two things. One, not being logged into an Administrator account in Vista, or two, not running the game "As administrator" by simply right-clicking the multi-player icon and selecting run as administrator. When the UAC kicks in, select the obvious yes, and you're good to go. Potentially, you can turn UAC off, providing you're the only one who uses your computer and you've got good av/firewall programs/routers, etc to keep your computer secure, but do that at your own risk. Windows Defender, on the other hand, I run manually as a secondary spyware scan, otherwise it's turned off. It tends to cause it's own issues, but I haven't managed to link it to the API issue yet. I've personally been abusing Vista Ultimate with COD4 for a few weeks now, just to see what uglies might arise, and I'm sure others have, as well. Those are my own personal experiences.
  14. Server is not showing as streaming yet. If need be, enter the 7 required rcon commands as follows /rcon pb_sv_update ...wait 90 seconds /rcon pb_sv_writecfg pbucon.use /rcon pb_sv_restart ...wait 20 seconds /rcon pb_sv_task 50 3600 pb_sv_ver /rcon pb_usessionlimit 8 /rcon pb_sv_autoupdateban 1 /rcon pb_sv_uconadd 1 64.27.21.46 pbbanshub pbbanshub /rcon pb_sv_writecfg Then upload your MD5/cvar checks and update your chosen flags in your account management section.
  15. Onboard sound or an actual sound card? Either way, who's the manufacturer?
  16. Again, I personally, as well as others here, appreciate your efforts to take on a change in attitude, and become willing to work with us. Perhaps a side-note lesson learned there, as well, as you will see better results no matter what issue you run into in life, with a more positive attitude. It is appreciated, and I wish you the best of luck. Getting a ban removed is no small task, and if evenbalance state yours is a false positive, we'll be more than happy to lift it of PBBans-streaming servers. Thanks again.
  17. /r_lodscalerigid 1 entered into console will fix that issue. You can use /seta r_lodscalerigid 1 as well. Either command entered into the game's console work. Alternately, you can use the manual edit in wordpad of your playerconfig as suggested above. Use the correct setting this time.
  18. Did you type the above into the console EXACTLY as posted? Using any number other than 1, as stated, will likely get you kicked off most servers.
  19. Thanks, and glad to see your attitude has changed a bit. That bodes well.
  20. Do not format your system. At some point a direct file may be asked for, and if you format, you will lose that file. It may be needed for you to prove your innocense.
  21. Yes, that is what I was referring too. If you run the game with the latest 1.5 patch, you can attempt to connect to my server and I can then view the local data that comes up as well, and perhaps help a bit more. IP is 208.167.248.183:28960 COD4 server running 1.5 patch. Let me know if you get any errors or kicks.
  22. If you are recieving that message, it means you are locally banned on that server. Not banned by EB or PBBans directly. Could you include a link to your ban here, if such exists?
