Interesting thing about one of the guys on your key... (UK guy) He is logged on 12 different CoD4 guids (8 of those keys are banned for other violations).. People I've seen on that many keys usually belong to some type of cheat group.. The cheater on your key is from the U.S. It's possible someone stolen your key with a Trojan or a bad ingame mod that stolen your registry key.. I doubt a valid cdkey generator works for this game, it's like 1 in a million to get one to work. nm 12 diff keys.. So.. either you gave him your key or he stolen it some how, The key was logged with a cheat. With that being said.. keys busted with hacks do not get unbanned, Your only option at this point, is to buy a new game and format your harddrive before you reinstall the game.. that is if you can't figure out how it was stolen.. Hell, who knows if you downloaded an aimbot and the cheat had a cdkey stealer.. we have no way of knowing. Better luck next time is the only thing to be said here... quick search in Google shows it has to do with Depth perception.. now is it apart of a cheat? I have no clue..

yeah the rules were made quite a long time ago and just need to be updated, at the time psb was more known in the Raven Shield community.. CQC just opened up the CoD ladder moving away from RvS

The command is /pb_plist to issue PB admin commands to the server it's /rcon pb_sv_kick <slot> <time> <reason for kick> (/rcon pb_sv_kick 2 1 kicking for clan) same to ban /rcon pb_sv_ban <slot> <reason for kick> (/rcon pb_sv_ban 2 banning for TK's)

That program kind of screws up your profile.. After you shut the program down.. run the game just to play, If you hit the forward slash on the numpad in game, the game will crash out. I'm guessing it binds an invalid command to it in your profile..

I was replying to FcUK_A in my second post.. And you might notice in my first post to this thread I posted a .Bat file.. So yes, I know what a batch file is and what it does.. Which is why I said it's an one button solution. Meaning it's easier with a batch file than going to the directory, zipping the files than moving them to a USB drive... I'm guessing you didn't read my first post and thought I was talking to you....

I've made a bat file using winrar command-line tool found at rarlab.com (RAR 3.71 for MS DOS <info>) It will back up your players folder & compress it, then save it to your desktop create a file backup.lst paste this in it "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players" //backup profile Then create the .bat file which I named "cod4 backup tool.bat" @echo off cd C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Desktop del players.rar cd C:\winrar rar32 a players @backup.lst move players.rar "C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Desktop" pause just rename <user> with your windows account username for the desktop paths.. And this line here "cd C:\winrar" should be replaced with where you install the command line version of winrar.. And of course, place both those files you just made into the winrar folder (.lst & .bat).. then create a shortcut to the .bat file on your desktop You are done.. run the shortcut you made and you will see a file named players.rar on your desktop **edit** Oh yeah, after you run the bat file, And if you don't want the program to pause when you are done., You just want the dos prompt to close by its self in the .bat file, replace "pause" with "end"

Sorry to say, It's not just an "EA game" thing.. Every online game is glitched/hacked. And yes, it's true, Punkbuster has many flaws.. TBH, a lot of the hacks could be prevented when the game is developed. Perfect example would be Joint operations. Sloppy coding to the max. They produced the game with oh so many holes in it. And then expected PB to clean the game up.. just not going to happen. What we really need is a Solid coded engine, with 100% server side heuristic detection. Right now there really is no detection for the private stuff. There is also no point in arguing any of this, for there is no solution coming any time soon. At most you will see is a private anticheat for a specific game, made by the community. But you can thank all the game devs that jumped on the bandwagon for "ranked servers". And the bright idea that a 3rd party mod will make the servers unranked. Which means most will not play on the server because the majority want to earn some stupid gun/ribbon

Ummm, it' was just an suggestion, I for one don't give a damn about black screenshots. And would not kick/ban players for returning them. As I said in my post "there is no way to prove one way or another if it's an hack or legit". I certainly didn't mean ban everyone that returns them ;/ So kick/ban at your own discretion.

Think he is saying there is no way to prove one way or another if it's an hack or legit.. Just ban them on your server with the kick message saying "fix your screenshot then appeal the ban" Nothing more you can do really
