You will not get banned from here if you alter any stock settings in the game, when you need a third party application to unlock cvars ect, then that is cheating. And far as changing stock cvar settings, Each server admin can kick/ban for what ever they please, and there is no control on what they monitor. Now for ladders, Each one is different with their own set of acceptable rules, If you compete, be sure to read the rules they set forth.

Anticheat orgs & ladders will look at the IP banned & not just ban anyone using a new key. People bitch about everything in game, Just do yourself a favor and find another server. TBH, it boils down to "whaa you killed me, you must be using some cheat" Could have easily shot them with a M4 and they would find something else to cry about. maybe WH next time? It's pretty much a done deal we will require streaming to play there. I would never play on a ladder that doesn't have such a rule. And pbbans is the place to stream for cod4 =)

And for anyone that hates all the space the console messages take up if you run a lot, Alternative is to use the pb_sv_say command as a task.. Indeed, We at GL plan on a mandatory streaming system, Site is just about done, just fine tuning the system now.

You have that OCZ Equalizer mouse, Wolfking trooper mouse, N52's, G15's. And the list goes on for macro enabled hardware. Just something you have to get use to. IMO, doesn't make a difference, If the guy equipped the p90 or M14, either you are going to kill him or not. Really comes down to who takes the first shot and has the better aim. I remember gaming in Raven shield using my N52 pad, Has a D pad type of thing for your thumb, Every time I shot, I'd always crouch with the D-pad. I got accused plenty of times of using binds. which I never did. Most people just like to complain about something if they die in game. Either you shoot to fast, Or crouch/jump to fast. Lets face it, There is no happy medium when someone kills ya.

The servers are streaming here, I'm just not their pb admin guy for the clan. It's streaming here & that other site. Between the 2 something is happening with the banlist every couple days. Thanks for the info on the enforce bans, will tell them to change the flags. much apprecieted

running pbbans.com & that other site banlist.. Some times my banlists get deleted, not sure what the culprit is, So, here is the question Is there any way to set up UCON to update a certain file? instead of the default pbbans.dat file? So all the newest bans are added to say a file called pbbansdotcom.dat file.

We usually have problems with spectators in our server. I've tried this setting // Kick inactive spectators automatically after # number of seconds set g_inactivityspectator "100" But I can't get it to work, then I thought it might be an on/off switch so I set it to 1 set g_inactivityspectator "1" And set the g_inactivity to "100" And still the server doesn't kick spectators. g_inactivity only kicks the afk people on a team. Anyone have luck with this setting? or am I over looking something here? Thanks for any feedback on this

You can disable the airstrikes with this command set sv_fps "30" they will still fly by when it's called, But they don't drop any bombs on ya

Far as I know, you need to login to get status info. After login to rcon the command is "/rcon status" and for punkbuster, it's just "/pb_plist" for kicking with pb power points, It's "/pb_kick <slot>" Other commands you can use is "/pb_power" to see how many points people have, what is needed for a kick ect.. And pb_sv_rcon commands can be found here http://www.punksbusted.com/wiki/index.php/PB_SV_RCon Looks to me, It gives them only punkbuster power, I believe "status" is part of the in game commands and not a punkbuster function, so I don't think that would work for a sheriff

It's hard to call the middle mouse bind a glitch/exploit.. Simple fact that it can be set up so easy in the game options with 1 click of the mouse button, made possible by the game developers. I actually set my primary fire to my middle mouse wheel without even realizing it. Late night going into the options and clicking on the wrong thing, taken about a week for me to notice I had it set. I don't use it myself, feels awkward after many years of using left mouse button to shoot.. But each his own.. I'm guessing the only time it becomes an issue is if someone gets out gunned by someone holding a pistol and need to blame something..

In the filter server option, You will see one option for "Mods" set it to NO and only ranked servers will appear.. Any server not running a mod will be ranked

Believe that happens if you try & register your tags more than once.. Simply go to the PB folder C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\pb Open up the file regname.dat with notepad, And delete the double entry.. save & close.. should be all set.
