As another year comes to an end, we would like to take this time to say thank you to all of our streamers, donors and supporters for making another great year at PBBans. We marked our 10 year anniversary this year and it's hard to believe we have been doing this for a decade now. PBBans has been quite the experience for many of our staff members and streaming admins over the years. There have also been many changes over those 10 years as well. Your servers are added but they are not setup to stream. Try running the automated setup tool http://www.pbbans.com/automated-streaming-setup.html

we use admin commands to kick players. PB itself uses the kick function directly. I'm not sure what they are doing to prevent it from working on only admin issued commands

Due to DICE / EA disabling PB kick and ban functions in Battlefield 4 for servers running in official mode, PBBans will not support or function. Other modes such as Ranked, Unranked and Private work as they always have in the past and we advise streaming admins to not use official mode if they wish to protect their servers with PBBans. When issuing a kick or ban command the PB logs will show a player is kicked / banned but nothing happens to them on the server. The same goes for players listed on the pbbans.dat banlist when they join. This effectively makes PBBans and other AC communities unable to enforce bans making official servers more cheater friendly. The only thing that streaming official servers will give is banned players data for servers not running in official mode.

It is hard to believe that it has been over 10 years since PBBans was created. Many things have changed over the last 10 years from games, staff members, streaming admins, website design, streaming, streaming methods, and even our logo itself to name a few. We also have made new contacts with game developers in recent years who have noticed what we do for their game communities. The latest game to be added to our growing list of supported games is Battlefield 4 and many admins are seeing many past cheaters in Battlefield 3 being kicked in Battlefield 4 using our Cross Game ban option. That is one of the many changes that have occurred over the last 10 years to aid in the fight against cheaters. I don’t think many expected PBBans to be around for over ten years way back in 2003. After many setbacks from DDoS attacks, server moves and more we have survived for a decade and still continue to fight cheaters with the tools we have. We are very thankful for everyone's continued support of PBBans. Without your generous donations, streaming servers, and support, PBBans would not be what it is today. We look forward to what the future holds. Sadly that future will not include one staff member. IndianScout who has been a staff member here for a few years passed away this October. He was also part of the Battlefield and other game communities for a long time. While many hated his work with BF2 and the RoE, he was well known by developers. He will surely be missed.

That's common for new games with PB on release day. If they generate a bannable violation the hub will kick and ban them. That just means PB itself won't kick them.
