Here is the map list which DICE released to the public. So it's basically 8 maps total but it's not 8 for each gametype like BC2. 5 tdm, 5 sector control, 5 objective raid and 3 combat mission

Honestly PB isn't a deal breaker for me anymore. I've played a lot of cod4 on both pb enabled and disabled servers and I never seen much difference in the number of hackers. Mainly it kept players from using free public hacks. MoH lacks the features that other great pc games have for me to recommend to PC gamers. "Times are changing" is not an excuse. I honestly see the day coming where I leave PBBans because PC FPS gaming will be direct console ports that are no fun to play, then again that may happen sooner than I think.

No game is safe. BC2 server files got leaked numerous times so someone has access. Even the MoH beta server files got leaked. If they have access to the files good chance they have access to hook the exe like other games and therefore servers must be screened like the rest. Trusted providers can't be trusted to keep game servers secure when it comes to PBBans. It only takes one.

The latest 50 bans is actually pulled directly from our database so it has more data compared to our rss feeds. It also gets the data in real time vs having to wait for the rss feeds to update.

Since I got a PM about it I will add that admins that run servers which violate a game tos like the ROC will not effect streaming to PBBans. We are here to catch cheaters not police individual rules for a game by denying streaming of servers that break the ROC.

Nothing happened to EA over BC2 now MoH so doubt anything will happen to CoDBO. Ironic the trusted providers of EA are now left in the cold for CoDBO. Bottom line is trusted providers are only used to protect stats and control DLC. Nothing to do with security. Hell BC2 server files got leaked with debug info which greatly helped hackers reverse engineer the game. CoDBO files will be leaked eventually.

I predicted it would use VAC and here we are. That's 3 Activision developers that have switched to VAC from PB (IW, Splash Damage and now Treyarch). Guess our future is getting bleak by the day. As I've said the trusted providers crap is getting old. If M$ did it, people would cry Anti-Trust but it's OK when EA or Activision does it. I won't be buying this mess for $60. Time for me to find another hobby it seems.

The publishers are screwed without the gsps but the select few that get trusted provider status see it as less competition so they won't say no. I've truely had enough of ranked and trusted provider shit end of story. I truely hope smaller gsps launch an anti-trust suit in the future.

tbh I could care less if it has PB or not at this point so long as I get a game I can enjoy and not some stripped down console port that lacks the basic PC features I enjoy. CoDBO is shaping up to be that game.

Got an email thanking me for playing the beta. Of all the "critics" they picked the ones that EA are very close to (GameSpy for BF2 stats / accounts). Both are owned by the same company News Corp. And people wonder why I have no respect for the major review sites like IGN. Not sure what game they played but the beta I played was far from the perfect combo between BC2 and COD.

I see it as the ultimate camper buster :P

Nothing else coming this year that I want so I will most likely pick up CoD BO since it has dedicated servers. I need something new since populated cod4 servers near me are getting harder to find by the day.

Unless PBSS are fixed, MoH will be the same as BC2 and expect BF3 to produce nothing but black SS since it will not support DX9. Providing they use PB :P
