First, I want to thank everyone who posted their thoughts of appreciation here. We have been through some tough times the past 2 weeks and the number of posts and kind words show the Staff that our efforts are not in vain. The DDoS attack not only showed a weakness from our old host not being able to protect us but it trailed us as we moved to 3 temporary sites. The DDoS has even plagued us at our new host. Thankfully, our new host has a tremendous support staff and MaydaX worked into the wee hours to keep PBBans running. We realize this will not be the last attempt to bring us down. On a side note, I question the great differences in the words about PBBans.....between our site and other sites. Case in point, these comments: I honestly call in to question your true support of PBBans.....on our site, you post nicely....and on others you choose to bash us without reasons. Which is it? Let's be fair here and speak your true mind. PR stunt.....how do you figure? Donation drive.....so tell me ole wise one.....how else could we afford the costs to close down at our previous host, ship the servers, pay for a new contract with a setup fee, all of the additional costs in hosting our site at temporary locations, and on and on and on..... I am truly shocked, stunned, and outright saddened by the insults that we have read on other websites.....only to have folks come back here and praise us.......

Thanks for all of the great words of support! For those of you whose servers are no longer streaming......remember that we moved from LA to NYC....and have changed IP addresses for the Hub :)

Most likely your PB is disabled.

Sadly, misguided and not very well versed in how PB nor PBBans operates. We will be more than happy to support your group's streaming efforts...but please leave the snippy remarks out of your posts. Otherwise, I will gladly stand behind fozzer's decision to ask you to stream elsewhere.

This is a matter that you must deal with the server admin who banned you. PBBans does not ban for black screenshots nor can a server admin who streams to PBBans "globally" ban you. Only EvenBalance can administer Global Bans and they ban for cheating and not buggy black screenshots. Besides....Akuzimo is not a Streaming Game Admin here at PBBans.

Major Chachi, Before this thread turns into a tit for tat flaming.....I will reevaluate your issue and discuss it with the Staff in private. We will see where it goes from here.

That is not a ban from that player.....as MaydaX said....that is not a valid GUID....ignore the ban.

The items were on your forums.....why are you saying it as if we presumed they were posted.....you should know. How long have you been with the group?

I don't think he was suspicious of the screenshot......but rather he was posting an "off topic" screenshot suggesting that the player committed suicide....a bit off color but I think I see his point.

I would like to jump on board with this topic to say that PBBans relies solely on donations and an all volunteer Staff to continue providing our services to the community. Unlike other seemingly greedy a/c sites that offer access/services for the sake of a monthly fee....not a donation....our services remain "free" to the community. The policies, restrictions, and forum access levels are all based off of different variables depending on the individual/group (i.e. League Admin, SGA, member, etc.). Access beyond the normal variables isn't an issue with prior status nor donations....but one of a data security concern. Those individuals who have met all of the criteria for elevated permissions must maintain these requirements in order keep the level of access granted. Once one of the criteria slips below the necessary levels then our system will automatically adjust the user's forum access.
