I understand the frustration, especially when you never meant for it to be public. I have to admit, it's one the most complicated configs i've ever seen. You have obviously put a lot of work into it. We have looked at it and nobody has seen anything indicating a cheat. At that lets put this to rest. :)

What he means is, does your home IP change every so often, or stay the same all the time.

Yes, I would make sure you have Punkbuster Enabled and Put some good PB config files on your server. Are the the Server admin for your group/Clan?

lol Bob, if that were true, then he could FTP into our server too, since he has the same password we have. LMAO... :P I dunno who thinks this, but if you are reading, that's a big no. The password is just between the PB of your server and our Repository software. It lets them talk to each other, It doesn't even use FTP, its using UDP.

It looks like your "friend" saw he was being linked from PBBANs, and took the post and screenshots down. Can't see em any more. :( However, if you cut and paste the link for the jpeg into your browser, you can view it. I'm attaching it for posterity. It's always a good idea not to link directly from the pbbans forums. People will KNOW we are watching if you do.

Sorry, Have to add my 2 cents. The reason Screenshots must be in their original format is because the logfile contains an MD5 value of the screenshot. if you convert it to a gif or other format, there is no way to verify the screenshot is un-modified. Even a kindergartener should be able to understand that. PWNED!

I guess kicking for it is fine, but I don't think we should ban for it. It's kind of misleading that it's put on a semi-official site as a legitimate download. It's kind of like American Airlines giving their passengers free combs and then the TSA arresting ppl for bringing them on the plane. Almost a type of entrapment. If anything we should appeal to that site to remove that download.

All of these bans have been removed, with the exception of the ban for Sgtretard. As to why it took so long to be reported, we have had servers streaming their logs to us for maybe 6 months or more, but have only just finished the back-end system to process these logs a couple of weeks ago. Upon finally activating the system, we had an inrush of over 350 bans for SOF2 alone, which had been collected over the previous months. I suppose yours was among them.

It looks like 5 BFV servers are streaming. We could use more for sure. :(

BTW Bob, I checked the original log for that cg_errordecay ban, and that's exactly what PB reported, no value... So i don't know what that means, but at least the parser didn't screw up...

Today I'm formally announcing that Autmatic Parsing of the Repository logs is now ongoing! What this means is that Bans will be pulled from the logs streamed to PBBans, and automatically added to the banlist, every 24 hours. This is still in a beta stage, and therefore I ask that everyone continue to submit bans manually until such time as we are sure no bans are slipping through. There are still some games which we are skipping MD5 and CVar bans until we can program those sections. Eventually, however, for those streaming, manual submission of bans will no longer be necessary! :D This is yet another reason to get your servers streaming to the PBBans repository.

OMG those guys are banning people for modifying their textures? what if they are just putting on a weapon skin? (a .dds file is a texture file)
