buttscratcher
Hey guys. Although I am extriemly happy PBbans is back up and running, my tarded self cant figure out what I am doing wrong, in getting streaming again. I had my provider change the PB_SV_UConAdd 1 208.122.49.138 pbbhub1 pbbanshub part. But what else am I missing? I feel like a complete idiot for not being able to figure this out. Any helpful advice?thx butt
Pisi-Deff
That should be all really... 1) Have you restarted PB? (pb_sv_restart) 2) check pb_sv_uconlist if it really shows this ucon profile (the last word ('pbbanshub') won't be shown) 3) Is PB running on the server? what's the ip+port? Fricka
Same counts for me. I did in hlsw. Only 1 of my 4 servers are streaming. Cant exess private steaming part of forum. btw you start page looks weird: http://www.pbbans.com/ the rest looks fine. in hlsw 21:35:06 pb_sv_uconlist 21:35:06 Punkbuster: [slot] [Type] [Mask] [Name] Punkbuster: End of PB UCON Profile List (0 Entries)
Pisi-Deff
21:35:06 pb_sv_uconlist21:35:06 Punkbuster: [slot] [Type] [Mask] [Name] Punkbuster: End of PB UCON Profile List (0 Entries) This means that the server is not configured to stream... either try the webtool again or follow the hub streaming guide's rcon section... http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html Edited August 27, 2009 by Pisi-Deff
Lucky_Fr4gg3r
Cant exess private steaming part of forum. Sorted that for you. The rest is on your side ;) btw you start page looks weird: http://www.pbbans.com/ What looks strange about the PBB front page? It looks fine here. Fricka
I typed: pb_sv_uconadd 1 "208.122.49.138" "pbbhub1" "pbbanshub" 80.84.250.141:27960 sfs|Fueldump NL is streaming again The others aint, i gave them the same command in hlsw. 80.84.250.142:27960 sfs|Afrika HD 80.84.250.140:27960 sfs|16 maps NL 80.84.250.68:27960 Stockenfels Fight Soldiers hmm ok frontpage looks normal again now. RoadWarrior
Try using the webtool on your other servers, now that you can get the main page to load up properly. Also, did you re-boot the other servers, or issue the /pb_sv_restart command from rcon?
buttscratcher
Hey Frica, not being a dic, but go hijack someone elses' thread, or start a thread for your own problem. That should be all really... 1) Have you restarted PB? (pb_sv_restart) 2) check pb_sv_uconlist if it really shows this ucon profile (the last word ('pbbanshub') won't be shown) 3) Is PB running on the server? what's the ip+port? 1) yes 2)pbbnshub is shown 3)lol as far as I know
Fricka
I typed: quit in hlsw. To restart the server. Funny thing is, i did the same command line in every server, and only 1 is streaming.
Fricka
Hey Frica, not being a dic, but go hijack someone elses' thread, or start a thread for your own problem. Well an admin here told me once : do not start several topics, post them in a active topic with same topic question, thats why. And there is never a reason to be rude. buttscratcher
They probably meant for you to read someone elses thread for you to learn a fix. Not muddy the waters with multiple problems in the same thread. Edited August 27, 2009 by buttscratcher
Lucky_Fr4gg3r
In this case a separate thread is the best idea, as it's possible there are two different solutions for your problems. No worries though. You created a thread here, so we'll reply to your problem in there ;)

RoadWarrior
pb_sv_uconadd 1 "208.122.49.138" "pbbhub1" "pbbanshub" is the correct profile. Also may want to set the ucontimeout back to the default setting of 90 300 seems a little excessive. Just as an fyi, always list the game, the server IP and the port when trouble-shooting here, as it helps us narrow things down a fair bit. BF2 won't give any feedback from an rcon command, unfortunately.

Pisi-Deff
It's not about the quote marks but about the second to last variable in that command. (The quotes don't really matter tbh.)
RoadWarrior
the "" marks are not required.

The only change I made to the settings were the screenshot dimentions. What does this timeout control?
buttscratcher
WAHOO! success. That did the trick! baby blue and active! I had it set up wrong.
