This gent has been trying to explain to us that he has not commited any violation at all..

 

Im having a hard time believing him and i am here to get some sort of confirmation from you guys on what i can tell him.

 

He has tried to explain himself several times to no avail it comes back as bs in my eyes..

 

Can i get someone to take a look at this and see what you think,his membership depends on it ty and good day..

According to EB, it is valid:

 

03/16/2012 20:57:41 - "Adam D" Note #5: We do not find this violation to be triggered in error, and it will not be removed. It is at the discretion of the third-party ban list administrator to remove any ban given as a result of this violation.

 

Unless your clan mate can get EB to change their minds, it will stay on our MBI.

He needs to appeal to EvenBalance. It looks like he did, and it was denied.Not much else to say on the matter. I don't know if he was hacking, simple as. We only have the information that EB provides to PBBans, and that PBBans provides to us.

This one is a tough one. My first instinct is to trust that pb caught something, but Ive never ran across anything like this. I just donwloaded the COMPLETE bf3 banlist from pbbans, over 6563 bans. These are the only bans which triggered that violation (note that I replaced 79551 with some added text to make it easier to find them in that big list)

OK, so the first thing that bothers me about this is that I know for a fact that each hack maker has a designated code assigned to him by evenbalance so that they can recognize his code. It is always 5 digits and usually starts with the number 5.

 

Secondly, no hack out there has only been caught once. Hacks get caught multiple times, thats why you see the same 5 digit codes beside the hack log in the pbbans banlist on different dates. You would also see different dates next to the same ban code because what are the odds that every single person who used said hack logged in on the same day? Slim to none. Every single one of these 79551 bans was on the exact same day, March 8....................there has never been another 79551 ban on any other day before or since.

 

Thirdly, you can look up all of these players that caught the 79551 ban and none of them have anything even remotely close to hacker stats.

 

Sorry, but I believe some of these bans are incorrect..

I don't think the fact that they were all banned on the same day is anything to be concerned about.

 

What PB can detect now is not what PB could detect a month ago, whenever those definitions were updated is when it caught all the players using the hack scott free before the 8th.

 

You'll see this all the time if you're in a PBBans streaming server with announce bans on, and a truckload of bans for the same violation come through.

 

As for the hack number, you should look at http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-pbviols.html

 

Cheat/Hack Violations:

When PunkBuster detects a cheat or hack by repeated positive identification on a player's computer, a violation is raised. These violation numbers are 50000 and higher. Families of cheats are listed below. Resolution: Remove cheats and hacks from the computer.

#50000s - Aimbot

#60000s - Wallhack

#70000s - Multihack

#80000s - Gamehack

#90000s - 'Cheat' Video Drivers

#100000s - Speedhack

#110000s - Autofire

#120000s - Game Hook

 

#130000s - Attempted PunkBuster Hack

 

I think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions to questions only EvenBalance knows. Unless they come back and say oops it was a false positive, which does happen. I'd treat it as a legitimate ban

The #79551 cheat violations were definitely not injected.

 

Since Even Balance adopted the "silent logging" tactic, it is not unusual for bans to appear "en masse".

Silent logging happens when EB are running a detection for a specific cheat.

When a player is detected the players pbguid is logged and no further action taken.

When the detections start to repeat or tail off, a cheat violation is issued by EB on every pbguid that was logged during the detection process.

 

The only unusual thing that I can see re the #79551 cheat violation is that normally we see the odd dribs and drabs that the silent detection phase missed, come in after the cheat violation has been issued by EB.

As has been stated numerous times on these forums ... Even Balance always have the last word on cheat violations raised by their own PunkBuster™ software.

At the moment EB are saying that #79551 is a valid detection and as such that means that the bans issued on pbguids that raised a #79551 cheat violation will remain on the PBBans MBI.

 

If at any time in the future, EB have a change of heart and declare #79551 as a false positive, the issued bans will be removed from our systems immediately.

Just came across this post... I see I'm #1 on that list GUNNZZY posted. I don't know what's going on, I can't appeal this ban, and I haven't done anything wrong. EA/Dice don't seem to care. Evenbalance just give a blanket statement that pretty much says "Tough poop".
