SuperTaz
http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2015/07/28/windows-10-automatic-download/ Did you sign up for a free copy of Windows 10? Are you running a Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC? Then you could be in for a big surprise: Windows 10 may have already started downloading to your PC… Microsoft's stealthy download uses a secret folder – C:\$windows.~BT – and it can be found by opening File Explorer and going to: Organize > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Windows 10 is a significant download of almost 6GB which means you can right click on the folder to see how far it has progressed. Show hidden files and folders Here is where it should be if you signed up for it. Contents of the folder: Have fun. :)

The software periodically checks for system and app updates, and downloads and installs them for you. You may obtain updates only from Microsoft or authorized sources, and Microsoft may need to update your system to provide you with those updates. By accepting this agreement, you agree to receive these types of automatic updates without any additional notice." So the other question this poses - will these updates require reboots, and if so, with windows ask your permission to do that, or just go ahead, and hose your work. That reason actually was what first drove me to change to download, but don't install.
