DaLynX Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Actually I'd like some help on this one, as I'm not a BF2 player... Can anyone explain why the name of the opposite team players does not appear on their dog tag, though it was working well for frenchaos's team ? Quote
Guest s4biturbo Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 this is caused by users using certain characters in their clan tags, i believe, in this case, it is either the '~' or the '$' that may be causing it. i have many screenshots of tags that do not actually show any or part of the users name due to these restrictions. you got the tag, thats all that matters!! ;) Quote
MaydaX Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 They put ascii code in there prefix that does that. Same way the orange name was done. Quote
Catziggy Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 They put ascii code in there prefix that does that. Same way the orange name was done. This isnt a hack or cheating or anything illegal. EA made the game name engine and the Dog tag collector engine differently. The Dog Tag creator cannot cope with lots of letters, as mentioned ~ $ but also Quote
