Well to make a really long story short, Activision is selling SoF2 with one CD Key now. They turned off the AUTH servers that check game keys and thought this was the way to go. Your guys need to find there old keys if possible and any current player needs warned of the possible outcome if they lose there game's case. Also maybe tell everyone you know to make a backup of their sof2key file thats in the base folder. ....Fozzer beat me to it... :P

These are game variables that are basically the game settings; controls and game options......graphics, etc. You should have in your mp and rocmod folders a file called "sof2mp.cfg" at least the Windows users do, and in that cfg file is all the different cvars (variables). If you have these settings in that file, change the cvar and make it say "cl_punkbuster 1". If it works or not please post back with your results... Thanks

Hey pvtparts, you did set the "cl_punkbuster 1" right?? There should also be a "sv_punkbuster 1" in there as well but thats not the one you want. I just wanted to make sure.....

Could there be the possibility that Vista is asking for permission or some crap it does while they are in the loading screen?? Maybe one of the minimizers out there for XP also works with Vista and they could check?

Try getting into your sof2mp.cfg file that is in your "mp" folder or "Rocmod" folder or whatever mod you play and in there you'll find a cvar called "seta cl_punkbuster" the number it shows will probably be "0" if thats the case manually change it to "1" and save your config. I believe that will solve your issue mate.

Turn your servers autodownloads to off and change your Rcon password.

Only problem is that cvar is called g_speed. :lol: :P

From what I gather, your friends sof2mp.cfg has a cvar in it that says ---->seta "speed 900"<----. I have no idea how that line got in there unless he put it in himself or had an outside program do it. Tell him to remove that line from it and he should be able to play without any violations.

Hey bro yeah it is, or it at least says it was 2 hrs. 31 minutes ago. There is a possibilty you might have to run a couple simple commands via Rcon. Go download HLSW and use that one, it seems to be the best one I've found and follow the "Fix Streaming Server" instructions if it quits.

Hey all, I need to have my old team account re-activated. It is -=|AKA|=- for SoF2. We have split from .:EvL:. and need taken off .:EvL:.'s team account. Thanks alot! BTW, our server IP is 70.84.24.178:20101 and we also have a F.E.A.R. server but its not setup for streaming yet. Another clanmember is in charge of it, -=|AKA|=-Bandit, I'll be seeing about getting him over here asap. Also I need .:EvL:.Bell re-added as one of my admins here. Thanks!

Hi there, my clan and I just merged -=|AKA|=- into RedKilla's clan .:EvL:. . I am still gonna be in charge of my SoF2 server but need our info to reflect to clan Evolution's. I guess what I'm saying is I need 74.53.52.36:20102 to be added to Red's account and for me to be added to it as well not to mention our ban/bans. I'll get a hold of him asap so he can come over and verify what I'm saying and to clear anything up thats needed. Thanks! Sand
