cant ban you cuz you have a superrior video card thats giving you better fps then him lol. you wont be added to the MBI for that alone.. he can however ban you from HIS server if he wants as it is his server :P what is the last 8 digits of your PB guid?

You can add servers through your Team Account.

the md5 and cvar checks can have an effect on your server 'lag' Check the MDL/MCL on Descriptions of the md5toolfreq command and the cvarwalk/pulse command however Streaming (does not cause any lag) that i've noticed :) If you come into Lag issues its usually cuz your Hoster has you on a shared resource i.e. limited/quotaed.

first of all that specific cheat for cod2 (the first link) is so stupidly obvious, any admin that doesnt catch it should be shot... second of all pbss 'should' pick that up and/or a DEMO first 30seconds in I noticed his aim was Jumping between targets rather quick thats a clear indication of something.. Catching "Private Pay Hacks" aren't the easiest to detect but not saying they cant be detected...

everyone one of those SS have the same text " xxx player has killed himself " as noted in the white text.. there is no way in hell that "everytime" a pbss is taken that the same text/image would be in the same spot. not only that but its a different map per pbss.. so yes its a pbss blocker no question about it.. Unfortunatly we cant do anything about this as you are not a streaming admin to pbbans and we cannot accept these screenshots as evidence as we cant prove without streamed logs that they havent been tampered with.

I Can think of several Game Companies that do something about it however the actions they take are Expensive and really not worth it.. Kind of hard to explain. I will give you an example however.. World Of Warcraft (made by Blizzard Entertainment) People were making their own SERVERS and allowing other players who had boughtt he legit version of WoW play on a "free" server and hence this took away from Blizzards Subscribers (they were losing hundreds of thousands of dollars a month). So in response to this they ended up having these type of Sites who advertise such things being shut down or Blizzard would lay the smack down on them by Pursuing Legal action ( a hefty fine ). So the Website / Developers fo the 'hacked' WoW servers Complied and shutdown the site.. However this didnt stop from other sites from poping up all over the net so in effect their due process was a waste of time. Its like Me making 10 different websites with the same content.. You may close one off but your gonna have to get the other 9 too, its a waste of the companies resources.. so in this case EA 'HAS' to better enforce a zero tolerancy rule, they started out with PB enabled on the servers (Hoorah for them). What would be nice is if they somehow were able to disable the specific persons CDKEY so they cannot connect to any 'online' server at all (i.e. servers without pb). but that would require a program overhaul i.e More companie resources being used in the long run would it be worth it to them? thats the question.. Cheaters 'sometimes' find a way around these types of issues and hence forthe EA's R&D Resources got used for a short period of time before they had/have to 'patch' the game again to make it more secure again... in the long run its a Patch n go Patch n go Process.. Im just babling now so I hope you understand that IT WOULD BE NICE if companies had unlimited resources to maintain something but a big companie like EA has many things on the go and im sure they dont have the staff or resources to maintain all of their projects at 110% if u know what i mean :).. and its not just EA its any game developer/manufactuer.

its clearly stateing CLIENT SIDE so its an error on your comp.. have you used pbsetup to update your Game Client's PB Files?

i've personally found no benefit imo to changing my fov.. i think mine is set at the default 90. anything higher then 120 makes the game look to.. obscured if im going to zoom in i use the basic zoomin/out feature of binocs/sniper rifle etc.

what kind of kvm switch? i was using a D-Link for the longest time till it died on me for no apparent reason.. now im using some pos Nextech which i've noticed a few video glitches when i swapped from one comp to my gaming comp (while in game)

Point made by both PBBANS Admins which I have to agree with them on this issue.. to prevent any other 'bashing' im closing this post. someone can smack me if they think im doing this unrightfully. Also my point of view and my stance is , IF you have a KNOWN cheater within your clan and is an 'admin' of the clan you (and any other clan) should be denied streaming access.. Its upto the Server Owner (head admin) to rectify this issue by removing said cheater(s) within the clan and/or ban them from their server. We had a couple of cheaters within our clan, they got perm banned and removed from the clan. Zero Tolerance Policy

on the gameserver itself sv_cheat.log / sv_viol.log are the two logs that store the different types of 'caught' violations on the server however NOT ALL of them are Cheats only specific violations.. the VAR logs also store all information in regards to all player cvars (custom cvars pbss md5's clien guids etc ).. When the server is streaming it essentially takes those 'var' logs information and passes it along to use where our parsers find specific known cheat violations, so the server admin really doesnt have todo much other then stream their server in which this case your MAIN server admin is doing i presume.

these are no bannable offenses. their could be multiple reasons why players are getting kicked for those issues. I've been kicked by pb for Corrupted file/Memmory before and it was caused purely by bad ram, the game was trying to allocate in a spot of my ram that was bad and hence a boot occured, same could be said for those players.. the unknown windows api has been a common problem for players, we cannot prove their cheating it could be something as simple as them using a certain beta of windows vista for all we know.. also afaik ' You ' are not a Streaming admin here otherwise you would have the sga icon and access..

cogentco.com is having problems with routing at the moment it would seem, let us know when you or anyone else can access the server :)

the bolded comment in your msg is the reason.. some individuals have nothing better todo then spend there money on undetected cheats , Public cheats get detected rather quick however with private cheats its much harder to detect imo.. we here at pbbans dont know when EvenBalance (creators/developers of punkbuster) are going to release another update for any game, I play bf2 rarely I also got tired of the cheats and well me losing / dieing to the people who didnt cheat :D.. However the other PB enabled games i do play have the same problems and some get even less updates then other games like Enemy-Territory for instance. All i can suggest is to wait it out like the rest of us, the cheaters will be caught sooner or latter who knows maybe PB's stealth detection has already picked em up and waiting to be added to the global hw ban list (takes time)

there is a logical reason for checking files like etded.exe (but once again it is optional) if someone renamed xxxx hack to etded.exe it can be run unless someone has etded check in their pbsvuser :)

video driver conflict and/or the person has a write protected config and has changed the video card in the computer (so its thinking its an older version of xxx vid card when in fact its not). I have done this myself.. I had to Un Write Protect my Profile so the new vid settings could be written to the config.
