  1. Only EB knows which violation code is related to what exactly, and they will not put out any information for reasons, so just quit asking here, at EB or elsewhere, it's useless as you will never get an answer; you could ask as well which of my 17 hacks is detected, so i have to remove it and can keep the other 16

Information found on the web can only been acquired recursively ... i would not exactly rely on it :P

For nocd-cracks, we don't deal with copyright violations etc. we are here to detect and ban cheats, but there is an indirect relation between both: in the past there were nocd-cracks reported to contain trojans that might send your cd-key ... in result we get ban appeals stating the cheat violation was raised from an IP located one the other side of the globe - along with information what "security software" (prolly cracked, unsupported, misconfigured and newer used properly within a policy) is installed (why? you guess it).

All we can and do reply in such cases is the URL to evenbalance.com/troubleticket.

  2. Absolutely correct, you simply can't connect to a server (old quake engine issue; google quake or q3 + set port) from the same IP/port . That includes the Master Servers that are needed to browse online gameservers.

    Solution:

Each computer uses a different port number. Add 1 for each player starting with 27660 (ET/RtCW/q3 ... or standard port of the game used)

Ports: 27660 (+1 for each player)

Try to start ET with a Windows-shortcut (create one and edit properties) or ET.bat

    PC1: Drive:\Path\ET.exe +set net_port 27660

    PC2: Drive:\Path\ET.exe +set net_port 27661

    etc.

of course you need 2 different GUIDs as well, should be a solvable problem in ET ...

  3. .. No.

    pb_sv_getss [slot#] . click

Counterquestion: is it possible that you'r already streaming to AASA as stated in your servername

    63.209.32.115:1716:1717 ACI-PBBANS-AASA- {C-K}-Clan-Killers ?

    to put some (non-)information together

Iam streaming from pbbans(I was but shows Iam not for some reasion)and through ACI

I would like to log forward to AASA if possable ...

... no, AASA doesn't want to receive forwarded logs.

If you stream to AASA this topic answers the Q why you stopped streaming to PBBans - to give a shortcut: within the AASA configs comes a command (pb_sv_task 208 43200 pb_sv_uconempty -- btw pb_sv_TList shows all running PB tasks) that will terminate all hub streaming after 12 hours. Background is (read there): aasa doesn't allow their private members to stream to multiple sites. We are aware of this problem, only not much we could do about it atm, so its up to you to decide - as of now you can't have both.

  4. just added the info you sent to me =o) and please keep all topics together as it gets the admins confused when working on the same item

yeah operating forums & IRC parallel can be a bitch

  6. It isnt ideal, but you may also want to consider commenting out the check for the 2.60b ETDED.exe for the time-being. I have seen quite a few people getting kicked because they have swapped out the ET.exe and hence can join and play on the server but they didn't bother updating the ETDED.exe for 2.60b.

The last few MCI versions contained both 2.60 and 2.60b checks - thus all stock file checks are outcommented otherwise this made no sense at all, specially if someone just uses it by copy/paste without a look into it. Simply don't run them unless you have a certain reason for it.

Tbh i dunno why to check a game.exe apart from to find a No-CD crack, must be historical reasons (/me opens the bin)

  7. so the quick 'n dirty fix worked :)

tho the pb method doesnt work for some odd reason <_ i even doubt pb_autoexec is working in et but its eb et-pb for players documentation hrmmpf ... good have no issues tried to set cl_maxpackets nada well guess this might trigger play a bit of again what wasnt the worst idea afterall lol.>

  8. Thanks Benway. I clicked the link you left @ 4:45 CDT and it said "Server is not streaming via Hub".

Is there something wrong? Must the server be populated with players in order for it to stream?

Streaming now (7:50 CDT) again; well possible hub stream quits when server is empty for a longer period of time,

    [/Rcon] PB_SV_Task 0 3600 PB_SV_Ver

sends 'heartbeats' to the hub, so you can ensure it keeps streaming, i'd recommend it if you haven't applied this task already.
