Yes that would be quoting Unwinder, and is found in the rivatuner help files. I'll also say unwinder is a rock solid coder and knows 100% what hes talking about. Also I use rivatuner and lock down to prevent damage to my video system. ( don't even bother i did the rma's ) But at no point has he mentioned caused leaks, so i don't see how that helps in your issue?

Your right foxdie one process usually cant' do this (process memory locked to address ranges). But in a case where one is scanning all the others it I believe it becomes possible. ;)

Still no binaries for the tux, so i have been at it yet. Some windows box's running but really not many players yet.

I would not do that, even the core game files will probably be a little different. It would be best to give the guys here a chance set up and test.

Yea I remember H, and you can stop most of that on the servers by not allowing ascii in the punkbuster config. The scrolling and slot changing though, I think you have something more happening with that.

Think we should watch the logs and see if we can get a example of the "player whose name rotates" I haven't seen that yet. Thanks for the tip!

From an on lookers point of view ZoD, I would say thats not true, in fact I see you have been give much respect and allowed to post as you thought you needed too. I also know the guys here do the best they can but from experience they know the checks and balances of the system must be followed. I do have issues with the unzip bit, like why didn't he get prompted for a folder to uncompress too? and then even getting it on the task bar with out trying to run it in someway. Still not beyond the scope of user error though. Any way best wishes in resolving this.

My uses are outside your planned box ;) I have a md5 hash of every file on my web site, as well as using md5's to scan for file changes, it's great for verfing uploads/downloads ect... Drop me a email [email protected] we'll chat.

Dude That is cool, I'm not a fan of beta stuff especially if it carries a Windoze logo but I want to see what it can do. Will it support full files? and if so up to what size? This would also be a great tool for web admins who use md5 checks on files and downloads. Thanks! B)

That may well happen, from what i've read looks like it will be the same a + b file for all your pb games.

The ss folder is game_folder_name/pb/svss When you issue some commands you need to do a pb restart from the web tool (command will be saved to config but not in use otherwise) Some ftp progies seem to have issue linux/fear/host, you should also try a manual file refresh once logged in. If this happens to you after refresh the folder will be full. (no idea what causes this but once it shows the files it won't happen again) ** EDIT ** Also console in this game sux for using pb commands. As pb can't return reply text to the server console you can't trust that it applied the changes you asked. change these in your file too you will find the very help full. ;) pb_sv_HttpShowGuid 1 //[0=No, 1=Yes (default=0)] <---- player pb guid displayed in web tool pb_sv_AutoUpdBan 1 //[0=No, 1=Yes (default=0)] <---- If not used any pb bans will not be written to the ban file.

Looks really close to my mx700 too, don't think i could go back to a wire though and all the new logi wireless just don't fit right. Using them is like typing "right turtle, 10" :D
