    Multiple screenshots the same

    These two shots where taken 4 minutes apart, the batch number is consecutive with the player but the same image. There are also 4 other screenshots that have a different image than below but the same as each other and again the batch numbers are consecutive for the player. PZXN has also attached all the screenshot that where taken of him during two maps of play.

     

    I have read the trouble ticket in the image above, if this is indeed something PB is doing and storing images and the client can return an image that was already sent in....then that needs to be fixed asap, screenshots need to be when there taken, not at the clients leisure, they need to be taken at the time of the request. If they are not then it makes it even harder to catch cheaters.

     

    edit: This has not happened to any of the members of our clan, I have only seen this happen to 3 players on our server in the past 2 months even with taking multiple screenshots of everyone in the server at once.

     

    EvenBalance have been on this issue for quite a while now but haven't found a working solution yet. The fact that they double is that when it can't take a new PBSS, it grabs the data from a previous one (of the same player). All you can do is pray for them to find a solution.

    PBBans is an anti-cheat community banning players that cheat/hack. PBBans only bans you from the online features in games since that's the only place where the bans can go, but PBB will not divide hackers into groups (online & offline in this case). Hacking is hacking, period.

     

    The server admin apparently thought the same and is in his right to ban you if you claim that you've hacked. The difference between PBB and him is that PBB only relies on proof and he went with what you said about yourself.

     

    Also the anti-cheat community isn't a Hierarchy; the final word is and stays with the server admin.

     

    To be honest, PBBans can not help you on this issue. The best way for you to get unbanned is to contact the server admin yourself. Good luck.

    EvenBalance staff need time to process the trouble tickets too. Bumping a ticket will send it back to the end of the queue. If they've submitted a ticket, then all they can do now is wait.

    PBUCON...dazed and confused

    I have. Thus my questions:

     

    Do I need to run pbucon.exe found on the EvenBalance site?

    Yes

    If so, where should I place the .exe?

    Doesn't matter. I'd suggest to create a new directory somewhere and put it in there, since it does create some new files in the directory it's in (like PB's end user license agreement).

     

    How do I start PBUCON for the first time?

    Execute pbucon.exe downloaded from EB :P

     

    What should I use for the "myaddress" IP and port? login and password?

    myaddress ip is your external ip, the port is a port on your router which is forwarded to your pc (unless you're directly connected to the internet)

     

    login and password to match the same as on the server, where hostmask equals the myaddress:

    pb_sv_uconadd [profile_type] [hostmask] [username] [password]
