As long as it does not give you an advantage in any way, then I would think it is fine. I know Steam does not allow any type of changing of game files unless it is an "official" mod of some sort. I don't know if EA or EB uses the same standards.

Maybe I read it wrong. Sorry. I have Ghosts and Advanced Warfare and BO2. It was on a pop-up when I logged into steam. So, I clicked it and installed it and got the game. This is what I see when I login to steam: Look here: http://store.steampowered.com/news/?appids=388520
