Armored Kill looks like it might have not-so-terrible maps. Pretty sad bout the only good maps were the B2K, which were basically already made for them and even then they messed some of them up.

I'd say after they get $49 from a bunch of people, they'll probably give out the maps for free like they did for patch 1.50 (BF2)

Well... the last patch took twice to eliminate mav surfing and did introduce the m26 dart glitch... so... yea, now if you said most pointless patch, then I may concur.

Yeah well Rush was supposed to be 32 players, and TDM was supposed to be 24, and SQDM was supposed to be 8, and we see how that turned out.

Yeah it may be defaulted to 16 players... but I'm sure you can set it to 64. Then you'll have 5 Metro-esque maps. Doesn't that sound grand? /Sarcasm

Yesterday wasn't a good day for BF3 at all. Hype Train has been de-railed a bit. And honestly I don't care anymore if BF3 de-thrones CoD or not. Just let BF be BF, and let CoD be CoD.

Yeah... I though this game would be somewhere between bf2 and bc2 (in terms of enjoyment and playability). But it seems to be crawling to bc2 now.

Who cares about instant gratification? All I care about is having a balanced game. I didn't see any jet or any vehicle unlocks for BF2 and that game turned out pretty damn good.. As for your early caspian theory, guess what, most of us were crashing after every round therefore we would lose our stats. So again... before caspian was 100% legal to play, I was facing jets with flares, misses, fire extinguishers, while I had THE MIGHTY PEA-SHOOTER CANNON!!!1111

Uh... no you've misread my argument. I'm fine with the gun unlocks (minus not having defibs at start). My beef is with the vehicle unlocks. You can't strip basic functions of a vehicle. There is such an imbalance with Jets I don't see how anybody can justify it. A person with all the jet unlocks can rip a person with no jet unlocks to shreds. Skill plays little to no factor when you have far superior equipment, and if you try to argue otherwise.. I'm sorry you are dead WRONG. Jets should have missiles and flares unlocked by default, them not having it is plain stupid.

Yeah I was told by a pubber that having the unlocks (us talking about jets) = more time which = more skill. I lol'ed and told him to eff off. It just means the guy started playing jets before me. I did manage to unlock flares before the BETA ended... amazing how my life expectancy increased :scratchchin:.

I've been jokng on our Teamspeak that when the full game is released, they'll start everyone out with sticks. First level you unlock a rock, next level you unlock a slingshot (without the band). Next level you unlock the band. :P Maybe CoD isn't so dumb afterall... keep recycling the same pile of crap while the sheep keep buying it. All the while force other franchises try to copy you and end up destroying themselves in the process.

Yea.. but how much if it is DICE going after CoD, or is it EA that's causing this. I am thinking EA. Anyways, even with the latest announcement from MW3... BF3 still looks much more appealing.

That's why I'm not extremely-excited... just really really excited. Just want to see it in action, before jumping for joy :rolleyes:

Yeah I know there are other ways... but you know, some people probably bought MoH just to get a BETA key thinking they get like a month or so early access. Luckily, I wasn't fooled.
