Nobody is being punished, all actions that have been taken in the course of events over the years have always been in the best interest of helping and protecting the SGAs as well as PBBans. So far, apart from a few different points of view (such as you can read here: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/pbbans-being-strict-t154053.html), everybody who wanted to benefit from streaming and at the same time have the ability to look up players as well as use various other tools PBBans provides, put in a little bit of effort and met the streaming requirements. The streaming requirements are there for a reason (follow up on that here: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/streaming-requirements-t147669.html). Always keep in mind that PBBans and streaming isn't mandatory, everybody has to make their own decision if they want to use it or not. As you put it - and from what I've seen so far, the little bit of effort that's neccessary to meet the requirements is well worth what you get in return - as you can gather from various forum posts :)

I think it's always a little hard to make a judgement about something you haven't experienced first hand. If I had to base my opinion about BF3 on all the (mostly negative) comments I've read on various forums/blogs/twitter accounts - I'd never touch it ... in fact I wouldn't play any game at all. I don't quite get why it apparently becomes fashion more and more that people dart at "I don't like this, that weapon is crap, the map layout sucks, recoil is too much, ...." paired with "server lag, a noob team, spawnkilling, lazy admins and of course damn cheaters". I can't recall that I saw so much negativity in 2008. Why do people still play the game? Because some are having fun, those who are able to let themselves into the game and find something they like. If I were to ask - what do you like about BF3 .... I fear the list will be rather short.

Das geht hier: http://account.pbbans.com/server.php Sobald Du ihn hinzugefügt hast - hoffe mit dem richtigen Port - wird er von uns überprüft und dann mit Deinem Account verbunden. Normalerweise würde er dann anfangen zu streamen, was aber momentan aufgrund der ddos Attacke nicht passieren wird. Halte nach Ankündigungen im Forum Ausschau, wann streaming wieder verfügbar ist.

There are no stupid questions, so don't feel bad about asking. We're here to help :) Many things can cause streaming to stop - as it was in this case a ddos attack which you couldn't have known about, hence the link. We're hoping to get streaming back online as soon as possible. Look for announcements on the forum

From what I can gather you propose there should be no downloadable banlists for the general public as you posted here already: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/do-you-use-our-downloadable-banlists-t147550.html which was a poll started shortly after this occurred: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/clearing-the-air-t147568.html People can always look up individual GUIDs if they go to our front page, there's a small box right below the menu which they can use to check if a GUID is banned or not. That has nothing to do with banlists being downloadable or not. Just as an example - the GUID tracker uses our downloadable banlists.

we only ban for hard evidence (streamed data), so as long as no screenies turn up dirty or he raises a violation on a streaming server there's nothing we can do. I've sent you a pm

Hi Yogi! I think I got it to work for you. The port for your server is 21167, I added it to your team account - it's streaming :). You said something about 2 more servers? Do you have more info for us?
