We understand bf2 and its series can be buggy. We do not ban for wall / building exploits (bugs). Server admins sometimes do local bans but PBBans does not ban for them.

ill bet people are just bidding to raise the price so noone can have it but will end up not paying for it. Just like that subway sandwhich that had one bite out of it, sold for over a million dollars where the bidder ended up not paying.

There is ip spoofing software out there. Basically all you need to do is change the headers in the packets being sent and you got yourself a spoofed ip. Like Ice_man said we do not ban by IP.

Yes that is correct. They buy and support the cheat developers which gives them more incentive to create more cheats. Why EB does not do scanning of memory and services / programs running for "Blocks of Code" that do injection and such I have no Idea. I think EB should partner with an Anti-Virus developer as they are able to scan programs for snippets of code inside the programs that COULD possibly be trojans or act as trojan listeners. EB should also monitor for anything in the game exe that is out of the regular and is not able to be duplicated from a clean install of the game. This is just my 2 cents instead of paying for cheats and waiting for the developers to create more. This is how some of the old HL AC's worked. They looked for irregularities that matched known cheats.

It's not only for the hackers but for the parents of the hackers that are tired of having viruses installed on their family PC's along with websites that have pr0n advertisement images all on the site. Great IDEA!

So you are saying that you are RDP'd into the box while browsing the forums and registering your forum account? Wouldn't that be bad practice as many viruses can be installed while browsing the internet? If this is true please re-apply for your team under your home / work ISP account and not while RDP'd into the box :-)

Trying to send people to court for cheating in this already horrible economy will just make it worse. It will not stop cheaters. IDTheft and Fraud is illegal yet many people are still doing it. It will not solve anything. Second most cheaters are kids that get bored with a game or like to get a rise out of people. You think judges are going to send 13 year olds to prison for cheating in a game? I HIGHLY doubt it!

Well we depend on PunkBuster for PBBans to run so no point in us bidding against PB.

Please feel free to look at his ban and do the research yourself on the IP address history and names used. If a GUID was stolen it would not have usually been by someone using the same IP addresses that were associated with his account before the ban and using his same name. However any thing is possible we will wait for the response from EB.
