17 Battlefield 2 Bans have been removed from the MBI and unban commands was sent out on May 17, 2008 for hub streaming servers.

Would be nice if the universal config had a ucon profile for us: And of course the pbucon.use file. The above would be a streaming only setup so that all a server admin has to do is add the ip to their account here and it's ready to go.

That and excessive checks. Also improper usage of the md5 tool. By default it scans all the file but our checks only scan part of the file reducing lag.

Streaming itself doesn't create lag, it's the cvar / md5 checks that are known to cause it. More so on Windows based servers.

If it's a windows server you can use pbsetup on your computer to update an empty directory then upload those files to the server.

I don't see that ever being added. It would require using ucon profile 3 to get chat logs and that will increase server load drasticly. We are here to ban cheaters not play language police. We would need to have permission to do that from the sites we import from. One of them does not want any ban list generation or search features. My guess is because they use banners as revenue and want the traffic. Who knows it may be possible in the future, the big limitation right now is PB won't save md5 checks to a file plus it overwrites the pbsv.cfg file on the server when issuing pb_sv_writecfg.

Open cod4, bring down the console (~) and type pb_myguid. It will be 32 characters long.

Sounds like a local ban. To be sure get your GUID and check it on the front page of our website.
