I must have missed that ;)

The only differences I saw is the different colors when the points and kill streaks come up :P

I'd tune in to a weekly pbbans podcast, maybe we could find some way to help HS before it starts lol ;)
-
Well I used the dr. pepper "Caps for Codes" promo for the spectat stuff whenever I stopped at the gas station

I have been seeing on the Battlefield Facebook page that BF3 will have self-repairing vehicles. Please tell me this isn't true, what's the point of repairing the damn thing if all you can do is back up out of sight and let it regenerate
-
Ummmm, WTF??? oO
-
sad that they now care more about the stockholders then the actual people that buy the games. What's next, another raise on game prices???
-
Aren't we entitled to an opinion? Just stating my opinion, you don't have to agree with it you know :)

Oh I see somebody from DICE has posted and maybe I was just overreacting seeing that this is just alpha stage, What I mean is that BC2 was a big disappointment for many PC players (Don't get me started on MOH) and went away from the roots that they established. All I want is a game like the originals with destruction, more weapons, commander mode, and 6 person squads, a revamped Punkbuster that will work with BF3 that includes pbss (that work) and battlerecorder to record your greatest moments and to help supplement the anti-cheat. P.S: Is there any chance you could make a full sequel of Battlefield 1942 with all the vehicles and weapons from Forgotten Hope??? It would bring lots of memories back ;) Regards No_Nickname BF Vet since 1942

This has got me disappointed, oh how it would be nice to see DICE's game of the year crash and burn due to their stupidity. Does anybody have the email address or actual address for DICE as I feel like sending them a nasty letter and really give them a piece of my mind. The DICE that I used to love for their awesome games (last good game being 2142), hopefully hasn't sold out the series like activision did with COD and turn it into a cash cow Most of the games I buy for PC now are based on 3 things. 1. Enjoyability 2. Good Anti-cheat 3. Dedicated Servers

maybe I should of said the last 10 years

Well it's big news were I live because it's rare to hit 100 degrees, this has been one of the hottest weeks this decade

It will just probably be easier to play competitively, like with TWL, CAL, and the wannabe MLG
-
Hopefully there will be competent admins who will prevent that, I also hope that they bring the fog of war back. Think you could only see 100m in front of you on city maps
-
They go off the page :P
-
All I hope for is that the aircraft fly exactly like in BF2, none of this circle strafing bs that I see everyday in BC2 (xbox atleast) and I want more squad mates, not just 3

I did a alias check on your name and made a guess as to what game you played and put BC2. There are 2 linked GUIDs, one for americas army and another for Wolfenstein. They look to be only by IP at a short glance but maybe the guys at pbbans will be able to look into it more Woflenstein: http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-0496b700-vb3436.html America's Army: http://www.pbbans.com/mpi/results.php?srchtype=GUID&srchdata=2da173a6&game_id=0&showLG=yes&showAT=yes&safeview=no

I'm not throwing negativity at BF3, just mainly don't want BF3 to be another letdown in my books like BC2 was. If I was developing the sequel to BF2, I would listen to the community what they wanted, and then work from there. There was too many things that I didn't like in BC2, and I fear that BF3 is just going to be more like BC2 and less BF2.

Well I said that with Call of Duty, and I haven't bought one for the PC since COD2 and WaW on the Xbox, I borrowed everthing after that from friends

The day that publishers make me pay to play is the day that in my opinion a lot of people will be fed up and the publishers will feel the pain. I own an xbox 360 as well as a computer that I play with friends or on a really hot day and I want to be in the cooler part of my house (basement). You pay for the every game & you pay for the subscription for online services plus money to purchase the other content like movies, game add ons, and other stuff. I really don't feel like having to dish out more money to EA just so they can line there pockets.
-
Wasn't there rumors of Activision doing the same think with COD, making it into a Pay to Play? If EA does make a Pay to Play Battlefield game and continues on that path, I'm done buying games from EA. Pretty sure a lot of people will stop buying the games then and go back to playing the older and better games before EA started to care more about money then the consumer

Played a lot of Ghost Recon, too bad I lost the discs and had to torrent the game just to play the game again
-
What did they have for BF2 that was exclusive? I know if you preordered 2142 you got a exclusive LMG or something but didn't know they had anything for preordering BF2

Being an avid Battlefield fan since BF1942, BC2 was the first battlefield game that I didn't buy for the PC and instead bought for the xbox as it didn't feel like a true battlefield game. I have many different reasons for hating it, but since they are on multiple forums (xbox forums and Unofficial Xbox forums) I just don't feel like spending the time to look for them as they are in multiple forum topics. I will however post my views if asked but I do not know how different the PC and console versions are played so some might disagree with them :)
