  1. Eh, I'm annoyed with Microsoft. They've gone overboard with the Metro design. DOn't get me wrong, I love it. I really do like it. But it's not appropriate for a desktop OS. I was apart of private beta programs for Vista and Windows 7 and you could tell they were headed in the right direction with Windows 7. Windows 8 doesn't look as good at the moment.
  2. You haven't been banned by PBBans at all (I checked your alias and it is clean). If you look at your server, it is configured for IP Restrictions - Level 3. This is what is causing you to be kicked. You need to turn off IP Restriction for your server. Also, it does warn you when configuring the server that enabling IP Restrictions can (and will) cause innocent players to be kicked.
  3. Disable uPnP on your router. Yes, you heard me right. Disable uPnP.
  4. I didn't say he wasn't hacking. Only that you shouldn't ban on the basis of a high in-game KDR or blank PBSS. He might be hacking, but the onus is on us to prove that, not for him to prove his innocence. And after a little investigation (because the screenshot doesn't tell much of a story). This was done a 1,000 ticket server and the round lasted 62 minutes. Which with some rough maths is around 2.x kills per minute. Which is very do-able. Battlelog Report here: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/22244679/1/362964636/ Me? I'm leaning towards not a hacker, and perhaps a pro-player "smurfin".
  5. Agreed, but I won't take action on a blank PBSS alone. It's a slippery slope once you start doing that.
  6. In-game KDR is not absolute proof. I've gone 106-10 myself. Unless you were there present in-game witnessing this guy getting kill after kill. No, read upon PBSS and how they work. There is a guide around somewhere here in the forums. PBSS can be affected by a lot of stuff. Black/blank PBSS != hacker remember that before you ban innocent players.

My original GPU was nVidia BFG 9800GTX+ OC which I upgraded to the ATi HD6950 (which was an absolute bargain at £189!) last year around April 2011 for Brink. And I had to replace my original mouse which was a Razer Diamondback 3G which also died on me last year.
  8. Agreed, fantastic game for a fantastic price. WELL WORTH IT!
  9. It depends on what you use the macro for. Just because you use a macro doesn't mean you are cheating. By the same logic if I have Visual Studio installed I must be a cheater as well.
  10. Great news IMO. Too many innocent players were being banned.
  11. I tend to look at bang per buck if I'm honest. I bought my HD6950 for £189. Can see myself keeping this GPU for a while. The one before (9800GTX+) I had for 3 years
  12. AnandTech have a great piece on it:- AnandTech - AMD Radeon HD 7950 Review Feat. Sapphire & XFX: Sewing Up The High-End Market My unlocked HD6950 is awesome. I would definitely upgrade to this if I had money to throw around.
  13. Wow, I'm a member of a several different forums. And everywhere I go people name and shame that server as one of the worst servers in BF3. Luckily I've avoided it altogether.
