Aaron You could do four things to help out your server and the community. 1. Use the Search function and read up on the topics of interest 2. Use the Master Ban Index on your server (will keep many of the tards you are dealing with out) 3. Get your server setup to stream to the Hub 3. Stay Active in these forums, advertise it on your site, and spread the word. Hell at least it will bring the drama to your forums :)

Everything revolves around $$$ If you go a purchase a brand new car in 2001.....by 2006 your already looking to trade it in for a new one. I don't forsee Ravensoft, Activision, nor EvenBalance fighting to save a used car. There are only so many tune-ups a car can get before it is time to put her in the scrapyard. I take it back to my earlier post. PBBans follows EvenBalance.....if EvenBalance pulls the plug on PB support for SoF2....then so does PBBans.

We will all be there to place the tombstone on the grave of SoF2.......when that will ever be :)

First of all.....PBBans provideds support for all PunkBuster enabled games. SoF2 is currently covered in this support. If EvenBalance decides to stop updating PB for SoF2, then we will follow suit.

I think what is happening.....is this is the beginning of the end of SoF2. I would probably anticipate that PB support for the game will end sometime in the next few months (or sooner).

I would say that it isn't a hack. It looks more like the timing of the screenshot. Sometimes, when PB "snaps" the shot during that instant the crosshair could have been rendered with only the two bars of the crosshair showing.

I would like to add a comment. The rules that PBBans plays by are extremely fair to everyone. We cannot allow folks with "tainted" pasts or with "tainted" teams to have access to the databases here. If we did, this would only defeat the purpose of detecting and catching cheaters in the act. I personally feel that when folks have the need to bring out the boxing gloves and start get angry over our rules.....then they are either involved with the "bad guys" or are trying to protect a known cheater who wears their tags. The majority of the way we do business here was organized when we started a few years ago. Times have changed and so has the business process.

Your server must be streaming to PBBans in order to have bans added to the MBI.

You probably should be a bit more specific about your server setup....mods etc.....and who was on the server....and maybe even some bits from your log.

We cannot comment on a screenshot that is not the original .png format from the game server.
