You quit irc before I got a chance to explain things. First of all I would point you to this; This particular clause of the T.O.S. has been in there from day 1. Recently we have made an addition on the admin side of things that now tells us, when accounts are being created, if the server is run from a LAN or home IP. Your server(s) have been "under the radar" so to speak for quite some time, now they are not. This is not a personal vendetta against you Bro, but a simple enforcement of policies that have been in place from day 1. I know no-one ever does, but the T.O.S should be read and fully understood before applying for a team account. The existing team account is suspended and that effectively kills it off, you never know, you might one day get a dedicated server to stream and the door is always open for you to apply for reactivation. Probably after a considerable "cooling off" period though :) Sorry for the inconvenience Bro, but your welcome to try streaming elsewhere if you so desire.

If all else fails, delete the PB directory for server 208.122.58.100:28960 and run pbsetup to create a brand new PB install for that particular server.

np Bro, everyone started to admin servers in exactly the same position that you are in at the moment :) There is a wealth of experienced admins to draw information from at PBBans and I am not talking about the staff, but other streaming admins who contribute to the forums by sharing their experience and knowledge. It's a never ending learning curve and in my particular case I am still learning :P Just keep at it and before you know were you are, you will be able to advise others in a similar vein.

If you have forgotten your original login details for the forum account karc forum ID 121963 the right way to go about things is to use the forgotten password feature on the forums. The incorrect way is to create a duplicate forum account and try accessing things that a new forum account user has no right to access. As a workaround for this particular case, and as a one time only fix, I will delete your original forum account - karc forum ID 121963 - and set the forum account you are using at the moment as the master account holder of team account 3805. I think this is a satisfactory workaround for all concerned :) I also changed the account e-mail to reflect what you are using now.

Bans are issued on a players pbguid only, if your pbguid is clean there is no problem.

Let's get things straight right from the start Bro :) The only cvar and md5 scans that PBBans issues bans for, are for cheat related cvars and md5 detections as per the PBBans MCI. Now to the issue at hand :P There are a lot of cheats out there that run outside of the game directory and the features are toggled on and off via cvar. (if the cheat is run outside of the game directory normal PB software will not pick it up) Depending on your viewpoint, admins deal with this problem in a number of ways; 1. check the "enforce bans" flag via your team account options and run a true zero tolerance policy.(with this flag checked you do not need any accept flags checked, and you never need to download or update a banlist from PBBans.com) 2. check the "accept md5 bans" only and manually update your banlist. (this means cvar catches will be ignored) 3. check the "accept md5 bans" and "accept cvar bans" and manually update your banlist.(some admins prefer this because it gives them a modicum of control of their servers pbbans.dat) The choice is yours :) true zero tolerance or this; Now, think about it, what did this player expect to happen when he manually entered wallhack 1 into his console, and more importantly what would you do as a server admin when you saw that command entered. If a server is empty for a long period you need to set a task to send a heartbeat to the hub; pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver you can check your servers cvar and md5 scans are loading by issuing a command via rcon; pb_sv_cvarlist - will show what cvars are loaded pb_sv_md5toollist - will show what md5's are loaded If you have the "enforce bans" flag checked there is no need to download or update the PBBans banlist, ever. Thats correct Bro. Cheaters seem to avoid PBBans streaming servers for some strange reason :P thats why we dont make it easy for them to get a list of servers that stream to PBBans :)

Here is the response to the first application you made for a team account and that is why you are getting the already applied message. What is the full server address of your new server ?

Exactly what commands are you entering ? Do you stream to another anti cheat site ? Do you just have rcon access or do you have ftp access as well ? Are you running your streaming commands from the server pbsv.cfg ? Does the hosting GSP run a crontab every day in the wee small hours that is resetting your pbsv.cfg to default ?

I have transferred the account over to you m8 and you are now the team account master. All that is required now is for you to get the server(s) streaming again. You should have a forum pm giving you full details of the team account and this includes the link for the not streaming fix. :)

Clan tags are used on a first come first served basis :) Having said that, the clantags are more for keeping track on the admin side of things, so a slight change of tag would be between the server admin and PBBans and not for public consumption. a team account already exists for pestgaming.com (although none of the added servers are streaming) and it would be adviseable for you to get the team account holder to add you as an admin for that account. The original application was made by your clans site admin. He has this unappealed ban against his pbguid; http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-121a193b-vb74981.html He is still on your clan roster. The player can try appealing the ban via a troubleticket to evenbalance if he thinks there is an error. The clan can kick the player to the kerb, permanently. No team account will be granted to any clan that deliberately harbours cheaters, so a decision has to be made; 1. support your site admin, who has a pb software generated aimbot violation. or 2. get rid of the offender for good. If things change let us know and a review will be made.

You did exactly what was required Bro. You add the new servers to your team account, they then go in a queue, the final addition is always done by a PBBans staff member in case of any errors. Once streaming is confirmed the staff member will update your forum status or the auto updater will kick in.

Probably a reassigned server. If this is not resolved by anyone else I'll get on it straight away when I get in from work tonight.

I gather by the change in your avatar etc that the auto updater kicked in :P

Before this gets out of hand :P let me put everyone straight here. PBBans is not a GSP and not PunkBuster, we are an anti cheat site. I play mainly COD4 and ET and have no probs what so ever. If lag has suddenly appeared that was not present before and a PB update was the cause of it, I would hazard a guess that we would be inundated with post's of this nature :) Common causes of lag that suddenly appears for no apparent reason are box overcrowding by a GSP / badly configured cvar/md5 scan checks / routing/netwok issues. There is also the drain on server resources when the bans in a server pbbans.dat are humungus and the server is checking every player against whats in the pbbans.dat. Thats why the "enforce bans" flag is so useful, let the Hub take the strain and not your server. @ DarkWolf - only 1 of your COD4 servers has the enforce bans flag enabled, is this lag happening on all your COD4 servers ? 2 totally unrelated games reporting a lag issue, COD4 updated today and BF2 last updated 20.06.2008 does not smack of the same issue to me.
