Can't stream my BFBC2 team server

First of all let me clarify that the correct command for checking the version of PB that is installed on a server is pb_sv_ver

:)

If you are not getting a response from your server to the above command (using guardian)

Ask your GSP (Game Server Provider) to reinstall a fully updated version of PB on your server.

Then try http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#bc2g

or

http://www.pbbans.com/webtool.php

to initiate streaming.

Once the commands have been sent use the server checker on our main website to check the streaming status of the server;

 

* It should be noted that because the server is already added to your team account, if the streaming is initiated correctly, it will kick in immediately.

* It should also be noted that signatures update every 2 hours to reflect a servers streaming status.

I've just open yesterday a ticket with my server provider, in order to reset file config and other stuff we can not access or manage regarding punkbuster on our server... waiting on feedback....

 

We will follow your steps as soon we get some positive feedback, then I'll post one again here in order to give you the status.

Most pbsv configs at PBBans suggest 90 but the default of 300 seems to correct it.

 

We have seen this a lot in BC2 which is also a possible cause of hub live not seeing all players. Admins are advised to use pb_sv_ucontimeout 300

This is what your allowed access to re BFBC2 PB files;

 

Read+write+create+delete:

pb/svlogs/*

pb/svss/*

pb/*.cfg

pb/pbbans.dat

pb/pbucon.use

 

Read+delete:

pb/sv_viol.log

pb/sv_cheats.log

 

If your game server provider is not supplying that access then I would ask why they are not.

Back to you, for good news !

 

Support team from my server provider say punkbuster installation was not install correctly (don't ask me wich kind of problem it was ? they don't tell me) . So now :

 

> punkbuster log file are created and available from provider web console

> command are now really executed and result is shown

 

result for pb_sv_ver is :

 

PunkBuster Server: PunkBuster Server for BC2 (v1.724 | A1382 C2.158) Enabled

 

AND I've just seen pbbans server status and IT IS STREAMED !!! since 1 minutes !

 

Thank you all the pbbans staff and other who has spend some times to help us ! Finally it was a problem with our server provider's setup !
