Last week when I looked you had two options.

Either purchase X hours, or purchase monthly access to the game - guess it depends on how much you play it?

"APB has been a fantastic journey, but unfortunately that journey has come to a premature end. Today we are sad to announce that despite everyone's best efforts to keep the service running; APB is coming to a close. It's been a pleasure working on APB and with all its players. Together we were building an absolutely amazing game, and for that, we thank you. You guys are awesome! From all of the Realtime World staff we thank you for your continued support.

The servers are still up, so join the party and say goodbye!

- Ben 'APBMonkey' Bateman (Community Officer)".

June 29 to September 16 = 2 months and 17 days lifespan.

Ouch.

Just for anyone who hasn't heard.

EA are offering to replace All Points Bulletin with any released game in the EA Store via the EA Download Manager.

To claim you need to contact them via Live Chat http://support.ea.com/chat and ask for a replacement game for All Points Bulletin. You'll need Java installed as they'll want to view your screen with an email receipt or your Steam Purchase history proving that you brought the game.

If that's not possible I'm sure the next thing would be a screenshot via support ticket, but that process may take slightly longer. So replace your dead weight with a new game ;)

Note: There will be no refunds, just a replacement game and if you attempt to push them for a pre-ordered game they have been known to threaten to retract the offer.

Realtime Worlds has revealed that a buyer could emerge for APB.

The latest patch note for the game said that the studio's period of administration could be coming to an end.

"It looks like there might be light at the end of the tunnel for APB," said the developer.

"The end of the administration process is apparently close and there appears to be a buyer for the game."

On October 7, it was announced that negotiations were ongoing with several interested groups.

Last month, it was confirmed that the MMO would be shut down following the Dundee-based studio going into administration earlier this year.
