Here is the map list which DICE released to the public. So it's basically 8 maps total but it's not 8 for each gametype like BC2. 5 tdm, 5 sector control, 5 objective raid and 3 combat mission

Thanks MaydaX, any ideas on the size of these maps?

 

I'm not impressed with the maps supplied in the beta so can only hope, or should that be pray, that they are larger in the full game.

Very much doubt it.

Since this was developed for the console the maps are limited to 24 players and (and I'm generalising terribly here) most console players want and are used to that fast paced frantic action.

I think I'll be capping our servers at 10 - 14 players at most.

For some reason, I knew DICE was going to lower the slot count even more. We need more slots and larger maps like in BF2142, not less slots and smaller maps!!! Soon, the maps will be no larger than shipment on COD4. That's pathetic, IMO.

I haven't downloaded the client to play them since I don't have enough bandwidth left on my 3g+ plan (I'm away from home working) but even if I did I signed a NDA so I have no comment :P

hey, hey, now! i'm mr. sunshine around here!

 

maybe adding slots, spawns and decent maps take to much time/effort during the port from xbox version

 

at least they kept the clunky movement and weird hit reg from not having a console type aim assist

me!?!!

 

 

@medalofhonor Sorry Guys, NO purchase from me, the physics are terrible, bullets bend round ALL objects!! Unsure if its fix'able via Patch!

 

 

i guess i was too frustrated with other things to notice the bendy bullets
