PBBans Hub (Multi-Streaming) General Information

As some may have heard we are currently developing a new way of streaming. This method will use the recently released pbucon . It will feature live banning, live player data and more.

Using the PBBans Hub will free up the current method of streaming therefore servers can stream to another rep if they please. Some leagues are requiring streaming to reps of their choice but once the PBBans Hub is operational it will no longer be an issue to stream to pbbans 100% of the time.

Once a public beta begins we will offer a config that you can upload to your servers PB folder and edit your pbsv.cfg file. Then restart PB and we will do the rest. Currently game servers contact our rep to stream. With the PBBans Hub this is reversed. Our Hub will contact your server to stream to us.

Testing is going better then expected and more and more people are requesting to take part in this beta. I would like to thank those people for wanted to try something new.

 

Also I hope to get a better system setup for adding servers in the future. This includes adding to the MSI stats.

 

Also I am very happy to see how well the live banning system is working. Reading some logs shows players are getting banned on all servers for a game in the hub before they are even kicked for cheating.

We have 26 hub bans added or updated to the MBI as of June 21.

can be de multistreaming the solution for me? because im work at a gameserverprovider... and a would like to have all servers streaming...but i cant leave my pass in the .cfg on the server ftp, because we give ftp acess to serveradmin

streaming via the pbbans hub requires no username or password :)

 

give it a try on one server as a test and see what you think - if you need any help dont hesitate to get in touch
