=SoE= Ken-Doka
Ok, I'm sure I'm just missing it somewhere.... But how/where would I get the current banlist? Do I need to get our server streaming before I can get this? I am looking into doing just that...so if that's the case ... I just can't find anywhere that has that info. Like I said, I'm prolly just looking in the wrong places... Thx
RodeoBob
Looking in the wrong location ;) http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php Would be great to see your server streaming to PBBans too :)
Yourself4
http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php Click generate ban list. Then put all your bans into the form.
-mRx-
But how/where would I get the current banlist? Do I need to get our server streaming before I can get this?If you stream via hub no need to uppdate your banlist anymore as it does that automaticly ;) http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19266
Raistlin
Actually if you are building a new server then shouldn't you create a ban file with all of them then by streaming you get all the new ones, or if by streaming it will check and add them all? =SoE= Ken-Doka
Ok...so I have the banlist. However, bf2cc expects the banlist to be in XML format in order to import it. Suggestions?
MaydaX
Unfortunately BF2CC imports banned cdkey hashes and not PB guids.
=SoE= Ken-Doka
Ok...so what do other people use to get the initial list in? Note: I do not have FTP access currently to anywhere but the PBSS directory. Thx
RodeoBob
That is why we recommended the Hub :) Easy bans management ;)
=SoE= Ken-Doka
Ok, so if I finish getting the Hub set up I don't need to worry about the initial list?
RodeoBob
Nope :) Btw....Thanks.....and fozzer owes me a donut.
MaydaX
We are working on sending ban lists through the hub. No ETA
fozzer
your Hub streaming is activated and streaming nicely :) go here click me select your game and generate a banlist .. you can copy/paste any bans you currently have in your pbbans.dat into the large window and then click "create ban list" All duplicates will be parsed out. This creates a shiny new pbbans.dat that you then place into your root pb folder (overwrite your current pbbans.dat) You do this once only and all other bans will be added automatically via the Hub. MaydaX
He has a ranked BF2 server with no access to the PB root folder. Ok...so what do other people use to get the initial list in? Note: I do not have FTP access currently to anywhere but the PBSS directory. Thx
=SoE= Ken-Doka
Well, I can try to get our host to drop the file in. They're pretty good at letting us get the PB stuff running smoothly. He has a ranked BF2 server with no access to the PB root folder.
