NOTICE: CoD4 Cracked Servers

MaydaX

Recommended Posts

Any team found to be streaming a cracked server will have their account suspended, server blacklisted and a possible forum user(s) ban.

Also the server information will be reported to InfinityWard / Activision.

If you have a cracked server in your account you are advised to remove it immediately.

Cracked servers doesn't verify a players cd key and therefore promotes piracy.

Not listed on the master-list is another issue.

Most of the time, simply shutting the server down for 10-20 minutes, and then reboot, will get it listed on the master-list. Has nothing to do with it being cracked, btw.

The link posted is a useful tool in finding out what you need to fix to get your server listed properly. ;)

We can now tell in an instant if a COD4 server is cracked (using a modified exe / binary).

I first tried deleting the server from the Hub and sending a forum PM to inform the admin that re-adding the server would lead to account suspension.

Due to the amount of re-additions, this method is obviously not working.

From now on, cracked servers will be deleted from the Hub and added to the PBBans server blacklist.

This will force the admin to contact us and they can be told "face to face", so to speak, exactly why their servers have been removed from the Hub, and in a lot of cases, why their forum access level is now set to member.

While ina server type /pb_cvarval authservername in the game console. It should return cod4master.activision.com. This should work on most servers.

Does that work only ingame or should it also work on the server console?

You can use the server console too, just type authservername and it should show what it's set to
