EvilJohn Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Interesting idea. I assume this will be free? Quote

bob5709 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Once this is active, it should be a core thing in the AC community that will run along side a ban-list streaming provider :) Quote
*TNA* Exterminator Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 This would be a great thing for the colleges and stuff. It could probably block a lot of hackers from getting to their sites. Quote
=BLACKWOLF= Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 It could probably block a lot of hackers from getting to their sites. Hackers probably won't install it :P Quote
*TNA* Exterminator Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Hackers probably won't install it :P True but hackers are stupid. They might also be able to develop a program for the routers so the schools can install on there end and no matter what the person tries they won't be able to get on these sites. The program is just a beta right now I bet there will be tons of updates and extra features will surly get added. Quote

Frag Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 Yah we're working on it. Great suggestion indeed. Will be good to get this thing out and on to as many systems as possible. Quote

Somehow I don't think schools care if people are cheating in games as most schools don't allow students to play games in school anyways. Quote
holback Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Really will depend on the price. SonicWALL already makes hardware that does this and does it very well. It aint cheap, though. http://www.sonicwall.com/us/products/UTM_Firewall_VPN.html Quote
Spectral Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 It's not only for the hackers but for the parents of the hackers that are tired of having viruses installed on their family PC's along with websites that have pr0n advertisement images all on the site. Great IDEA! Quote
holback Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 I'm for anything that protects kids, parent and their computer equipment :) Quote
