The server IP appears on the MPI, so it was blacklisted as per our policy on server IP's appearing on the MPI.

I don't understand? This server is rented from gameservers.com I just purchased it last night.

You're saying that I need to have the ip changed?

The IP is blacklisted since is appears on the MPi.

68.232.163.2

It is up to you if you wish to contact your GSP to request a new IP address.

Well If its blacklisted then I'm going to have to have it changed.

Thank you

Changing it now, hopefully the new one won't be a problem.

Thanks for the fast replies you guys.

I still don't get it though, how is a rented server from gameservers.com on the mpi? Does that mean that it has been used a playing machine? Or did someone spoof the ip or something like that?

I ordered a COD UO server from them that is supposed to be in Chicago, and turns out that its in NJ. I guess they dont think people will check or something. :angry:

ip2location != always correct ;)

I was told by GS that ip locators are not always correct because it goes by where the ip was registered. Does this make any sense?

I get the same ping on both my servers, even though one shows up in NJ in a search, so maybe it is true :blink:
