Okay so we have a member of our squad right now, banned from COD4 forever.

I've seen the footage of "proof" and all of us on the squad know it's not him. it's obvious.

 

He appealed it WITH info as to what happened. We shouldn't have to prove to PBBans as to what occured. They should know, and ban the correct people.

 

I honestly think it's a little pathetic of how things are run if these things are happening.

who KNOWS how many people this guys, The Idiot, has gotten banned for life right under the nose of PPBans. Come on people. And you turn down our guys appeal? Gimme a break..

 

Here's what one of our senior squad members dug up.

Plus, he also has numerous GUID#s for each game that still

haven't been banned yet.

Your "senior member" is incorrect on many, many levels.

 

I will paraphrase though:

 

Your members GUID is banned because the GUID was used to hack. We do not ban aliases or IPs, neither do we use them to ban additional GUIDs. GUIDs are banned based upon evidence streamed to us via the PBBans Hub.

 

Please ensure that you have researched and completely understand how we work here - before throwing out accusations of us not doing our job properly.

 

It does not concern us who is using your team-member's GUID - but it was used by someone, to hack - thus it ends up banned and will stay banned.

oh ok so if someone steals a guid were supposed to be the police and lift a valid ban?

Mhmm, and from what I can tell the GUID is not stolen either. Only a single alias listed, and IPs check out just fine.

 

I suggest that the clan member in question purchases a new copy - the ban is valid and will not be lifted. Also, considering the GUID is not stolen - I believe that the member is indeed a hacker. The demo evidence is pretty damn conclusive... UrGonnaDie's admins did do a damn good job ;)

 

They keep our demo reviewers busy at least :lol:

I acted alone here just so you know.

 

But I am really curious as to how you can just let someone be wrongfully banned and just say oh well.

 

So you're letting some guy go around and get people who haven't done anything banned for life?

 

Yeah, sounds like you guys are doing an awesome job.

 

I'm just saying I wish you guys were more just in your actions. I am very glad we have this to keep people from hacking and crap, but I mean what corrections in the system need to be made to stop injustices such as this from occuring again? It's really quite wrong.

This isn't the first time that we've had someone steal one of our names and copy it exactly, but none of US got banned for it. This guy is doing something that obviously bypassed the system and is not 'caught' as you believe.

below that is "The Idiot" who is doing all of this.

again, I am acting alone here. I just want to know how you can let dumb things like this happen for being such an important system. Man.

 

I'm curious, what is your proof of him not somehow stealing the GUID?

I will look into this more. but for now I'm closing this topic.

This ban has been removed from the MBI. Measures have been taken to ensure this type of thing does not happen again.
