This means, your server runs an old version of PB (= you are right, something is wrong there). Also your server is not streaming to an anti-cheat site, which we recommend. Ok, i don't really know what u did .. so i just explain it step by step (one of many solutions): You connect to your server, then you open the console and type . This should give you the current pb version: Anyway, if all that fails, use pbsetup and if that still does not help, reinstall ET if possible(includes install of pb).

1. Your profile does not contain any info about you: are you server admin? Do you want to stream? What game are you talking about? Is there a clan website or similar so we know you are an admin? ... 2. Your server is currently not streaming as it seems. Check your settings please. Actually i doubt it was ever streaming .. therefore please also post here when you set up everything. When your server is streaming correctly you will get an upgrade to streaming game admin which will allow you to post screenshots in the respective forum. But remember: your server has to be streaming at the time you take the screenshots.

First of all do 'rcon pb_sv_ver' to get the currently installed pb version. Umm .. what mod are you using? What kind of messages are you speaking of, do you mean banners (can u give an example of that messages.cfg?) ? Change your rcon password, maybe someone got it who shouldn't have it. You also can check ur server logfiles for Rcon commands, there usually is an IP added which you can cross-check with all players ..

When the server admin does not care about hackers or even is a hacker himself, you can't do anything but go to a different server with responsible admins. But please also consider that the server admin may be right and the players you accuse of cheating are innocent.

NO, guidrelax should be set to 0 (standard). Duplicate GUID kicks happen when a player connects with the same GUID as a player who already plays on your server. Reasons can for example be: The game suddenly crashes. The server in the first moment does not recognise that the client is not connected anymore. Then the player reconnects with his normal GUID, but the server thinks there is already someone with that GUID (the zombie version of that player). As the GUID should be an unique identification, the player gets kicked for duplicate guid. Two players share the same etkey (a file located in etmain), because one player copied his etkey from the other players install. As already said, the GUID (computed from the etkey) should be unique. NEVER share your etkey with other players!

The type of ucon has to be 1, not necessarily the sessionlimit. Examplefor adding a session: PB_SV_UConAdd 1 100.200.100.200 name pass What is the output of pb_sv_uconlist on your servers?

It is completely your decision as a server admin, what cvar checks you want to use and which not. But it is better to keep at least the hack related cvars so you catch the cheaters. The bob cvars are standard cvars and are not used by a cheat, you can remove them without a risk of having more cheaters on your server. In case you update your cvar checklist with PAT .. you can set a patch file to remove unwanted checks.

Don't really know .. but what's the point now? Get the server streaming to pbbans and download the pbbans banlist. Also the guy you are talking about has a cheat installed (and at least someone with the same guid was already caught). You can ban that guy. Are you server admin of that server with ftp or shell access? If yes, do your job soldier ;) Anyway, of course it's your (or the actual server admin's) decision :)

Server is NOT streaming to pbbans. And the name of the player doesnt really matter. Not the name is banned, it is the GUID that is banned.

Hmm .. are all lines striked out? Even the first line? I don't have another idea at the moment. Maybe you could zip the htm file and send it to me, so i can check it. But i still think you don't need to worry about those lines.

Only original pb screenshots of servers that stream to pbbans are accepted. 'Proof' created with photoshop is easily detected and admins trying to get people banned with faked screenshots will be punished.

Yes, take pb screenshots and record demos. This can reveal whether someone is cheating or not. Then post it in the Screenshot and Demo Submission area.

I bet a player on your server was clever and called himself , which now causes your pbsvss.htm to have all lines striked out :D Very mean guy :P Anyway, don't worry about that, everything is ok. Maybe just edit the file and change to > if you want. Or just ignore it. Rofl ..
