pb_sv_disable and set UsePunkbuster=0 in serveroptions.txt for fear it requiers 2 restarts to get it disabled!

indeed.. i just tested it on one of my servers.. al seemed fine till the 2nd mapchange finished loading.. kicked again.. so i disabled PB again.. My linuxserver still runs fine with PB enabled btw :) So its def. a windows issue on the server side :)

i get that to from time to time.. after a reboot and it doesnt happen anymore :) but this is offtopic here. this thread was about CoopWarfare wich currently cant be played with PB and probably never will be :)

Mine is still open because in my first 4 notes i added that i allready had done that.. But I think i'm being ignored there.. :P The other ticket i have has no responce since the 14th of july and is still open :)

I even did a clean install, manual PB reinstall and update on both server, and clientside on my computer to troubleshoot this, it's a PB Bug wich only seems to happen on windows based fear servers.

where did u get this nonsence? :/ this seems to be happenning on ALL windows based dedicated fear servers since august the 11th, i've got 5 windows based fearservers and am the only one with access to the filesystem. ive been away all weekend and only played on those servers after the 11th. The corrupt module list is a bug in PB that needs to be fixed. Me and alot of other admins/players have troubletickets pending at EvenBalance waiting for their reply. Also, Streaming admins caught tampering with Punkbuster components on their server lose access to this website.

Since 11th of August there seems to be a problem with punkbuster for fear. If you want this resolved please openup a trouble ticket at evenbalance :) http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/n...t.php?game=fear

uhm combat and retail work just fine.. use these guidelines for pnkbstrA/B kicks: http://games.xs4all.nl/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3762 and when updating PB using PBsetup be sure to point it to your FEAR User directory and not the game folder :) Debugging Go to your fear userdirectory > pb folder create a file called pbcl.cfg and add in it this single line: pb_logtofile 1 save and start the game. That will tell PB to log all it's messages to a pbcl.log file. Try joining a PB server and when u get kicked paste the log. It may have info you need. Also, in your WINDOWS/system32/LogFiles/PunkBuster are a few log files, Check them for any error messages

NOTICE! Due to a bug in the new PB Services CoopWarfare servers cannot run Punkbuster at this time! @ Foxdie the problem is in PB, and i have a TT running for this for over a month now :) The ticket has been open ever since that response :) maybe stu went on vacation :) All CoopWarfare servers are currently running without PB (or are empty :P ) I'll update this thread as soon as i get a responce from evenbalance again :)

i have a ticket with a last response at: 07/14/2007 and still i do know they're doing their best to fix this :) (CoopWarfare mod cant run PB) Just be patient, dont keep creating new tickets, just add a note to your current one..

Nee hoor we doen helemaal niets met jouw server :) streamen wil alleen zeggen dat je punkbuster naast naar zn eigen logfiles ook naar onze hub logt. Hierdoor kunnen punkbuster cheatbans op jouw server binnen 3 seconden op alle andere streaming servers worden verspreid. Het is welzeker verstandig om te streamen. want als je nu een cheater tegenkomt op de screenshots kun je niet veel meer doen als die persoon op jouw server bannen. Als je streamt naar PBBans krijg je een teamaccount en kun je ervoor zorgen dat die cheaters op de algemene PBBans MBi (Master Ban Index) belanden en die persoon dus meteen op alle streaming servers niet meer kan spelen. Je kunt de handleiding voor bf2cc gebruiken, kijk wel even goed naar de plaatjes want een hoop mensen gaan de fout in met het op enter drukken na een commando :) een voorbeeldje van een ban by screenshot (PBSS) voor BF2: http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php?action=5&ban_id=30819

you can only submit catches from the moment u started streaming so for the pbss's from before that just wait till those players come back and submit them when they do

just wait till EB answers your TT (I asume u have one) :)

Logs look just fine.. Check if security software on your computer isnt blocking the PBservices access to internet/system Virusscan / personal firewall softare, etc. hardware routers should not be a problem! :) try manually updating PB for fear. using PBSetup but do notice when adding the game in pbsetup, to point it to your fear user directory and not the main game dir :)

you are correct, without being a streaming game admin u dont have access to MCI / Jpat / etc :)

Each game related forum has a sticky thread about these updates. click Track this thread to get an email on new mci updates.To update u can either do it manually or use Jpat :) Hub is the main streaming method, a replacement for the old Rep streaming method, hub is not the tool that keeps the md5/cvar scans up to date, that tool is called Jpat. what is the exact kickmessage u are getting? you can find some logs from the new services in: c:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\PunkBuster\ be aware if posting them that this area is a public forum. so either strip out confidental information or just paste the parts that u find relevant :)

the problems seem te be fixed here? *knocks on wood* i gues they fixed the typo that made the module look corrupted :D

reboot didnt fix anything here i even reinstalled the game and PB a few times

i cant play either :) and not only me. open up a TT and wait for a response..
