  1. Ubuntu 9.04's been released to day, and I can honestly say it's fantastic! Boot up times on my netbook are more than halved (1 min 5 secs before, now 30 secs) when using the ext4 file system. Hardware support is also improved, and the notifications are far more aesthetically pleasing. Well worth checking out :) http://www.ubuntu.com/
  2. What's the IP address of the server? The server is added to PBBans, but is not configured on your end for streaming. If you do not wish to stream here, we can remove the server so you will not get these messages in your logs.
  3. Your server is incorrectly configured for streaming to PBBans.com. Please view the Hub Streaming Guide to get your server streaming to us again.
  4. Regarding your PM; your server is not streaming as you have not created a team account or added your server here at PBBans.
  5. I have a 4th generation iPod video, and I quite like it. It was one of the more advanced media players around when I bought it. The iPhone, however, isn't, and I still fail to see how it got where it is. The touch screen is excellent; it's very responsive. However, everything else is simply mediocre. Terrible camera, no video recording, and no multi media message support. I also personally don't really think the looks are anything special. However, the looks are merely a matter of opinion. It's a great media player, but I already have an older iPod for that. If it didn't have the Apple logo on it, I doubt it would sell any where near as well. My HTC Diamond is far from perfect. However, it includes a far better camera, video recording functionality, multi media messaging, and a wide selection of on-screen keyboards. It's also incredibly easy to expand it's functionality with third-party applications, without the need for jail-breaking the device. Windows mobile devices also sync incredibly easily with Windows PC's. The Diamond's definitely aimed at business users, whilst the iPhone's aimed at multimedia users. Pay your money, take your choice. However, the iPhone is overpriced for what it is in my opinion. You're just paying for the name. It's not jealousy here, either. I could have got one - I just preferred the Diamond. Looks better too :) Never touched a BlackBerry storm, personally. I didn't even give it a glance once I discovered it had no WiFi capabilities. It'd be nice to have a fiddle with one though; the click-able touch screen intrigues me. I also haven't considered the newer BlackBerry handsets. There seem to be too many software bugs when they are first released. Sure, issues are to be expected with new devices as soon as they're released. It just seems like BlackBerry devices suffer more issues than other handsets.
  6. The iPhone leaves me completely flacid :P
  7. The current Diamond is excellent. The Diamond 2 looks like the software will be even better. The new one looks ugly to me though.
  8. Well, I'm a complete gadget geek when it comes to mobile phones. I seem to change 'em every 4 months or so. Still, it doesn't cost that much. I look after my phones really well, so I usually only lose
  9. This is the one I use: <form method="post" action="http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php"> <b>Check GUID at PBBans</b> <br /> <input name="guid" type="text" maxlength="32" value="Enter GUID" class="formitem"> <br /> <input type="hidden" name="action" value="12"> <b><span class="text-green-11">(8 or 32 characters)</span></b> <br /><br /> <input type="submit" value="Check GUID" class="formitem"> </form>
  10. Your account will remain accessible, so you can simply add your new server whenever you get it online :)
  11. Yes, uploading a demo and pasting one line from a log file into a post is incredibly difficult  x RickAstley, send the demo the the CyberGames admins. They'll be able to submit the demo here along with the appropriate log data. The player will then be placed on the PBBans MBi.
  12. Red Hat and CentOS seem to be common. Never had issues with CentOS myself.
  13. Please don't revive year old threads. Closed.
  14. One of the main reasons why I preferred not to comment on the question asked by Bulgy regarding the violations present on our ban list. No information regarding the violations - pure guesswork on our behalf, and we prefer not to work in such a manner. One of the main reasons for the mildly heated discussion is due to the 'To Ban or not to Ban' article which was heavily biased against PBBans. I believe there was even a post by a non-PBBans staff member in your forum regarding this. For those who are interested in the work that BustedPunks do, the facts are outlined in the first post of this thread. Additional information is available at www.bustedpunks.com.
  15. http://www.pbbans.com/account/user.php Click the above link, then click 'Manage Users'. Remove the user from your team account. If he is the master user of the account, let us know and we'll see what we can do for you.
  16. Been playing it for a couple of weeks. Average IMO. Nothing stands out to me as being great, and I still dislike games running in my web browser.
  17. Once your server is streaming, you will have the ability to see which cheaters have been caught on your server(s) in your account control panel. Account control panel: Click.
  18. I, myself don't have a clan or team either. I just set up a server and added a small forum and website for friendly chit-chat. That's all that will be required. Note that the site will have to include some form of activity for the web site to be accepted.
  19. Still not streaming: *************************************************************** Team: La ligue des justiciers (LiGuE|) Account ID: 6699 Streaming Status: Not Streaming (0 / 1) *************************************************************** --------------------------------------------------------------- Server List --------------------------------------------------------------- BF2 - 84.207.19.71:15717 Help: Click Me.
  20. Here's the easiest way to get a server streaming. Click here. Download the .zip folder, and unzip it. Upload the two files contained with it to your server's pb directory. Restart PunkBuster ([/rcon] pb_sv_restart) and you're done :)
  21. PM CoF-Live and request the sever to be removed from their account. If you encounter issues (i.e. no response to your PM), contact a staff member and we'll see what we can do.
  22. Click this link: Click. Select your game from the drop down list, and click 'Add Server'. Fill in the details. It will be put into a queue for admin approval. You then need to configure the server for streaming. A guide on how to do this can be found here.
