What does the lack of spec and ping have to do with PB or VAC? Blame the game maker for that. At least with PB, you could submit the demos/PBSS (when they work) here to apply a ban. Good luck with that using VAC.

Only Evenbalance knows what the violation codes are and they don't make that info public. Judging by the ban link, it has been appealed and denied confirming it was a valid ban.

Hell, IW didn't get it down on thier last try either. No game is ever going to be perfect by all eyes on it's release. As fare as EA and BFBC2, i've had very few issues with the game myself. Issues with some of the stuff in the game, sure, the game itself however has run pretty good for me.

My guess is Black Ops won't be any different either.

I don't get the point of "unlocking" better weapons just to have there capabilities reduced . Might as well just have 1 weapon per class. While I like the adjustments to the shotguns, I think thier range needs to be reduced altogether. No rhyme or reason why any type of shotgun should have the range of a sniper rifle period.. Being headshot with an 870 from C to A or vice versa on Arica Harbor Conquest is just completely ridiculous.

Paid DLC is fine as long as patches aren't lumped in with the maps and such. People shouldn't be expected to pay for game fixes.
