The demo board for that mod has it working for 4.1.3, so i'd say yes. Personally I just used the built in vBulletin show forum leaders, as clan members are in their own usergroup which you can display. This mod will allow you to do much more if you want to take the time to customize it though.

The only function I'm looking forward to, is the ability to see what servers my friends are playing on without firing up the game and being able to join on them. The system steam uses for its friends list is great like this, If EA wants to bring its own in for the BF series even better. Being limited to 20 friends in BC2 sucked

Instead of starting witch hunts, you should talk to the server admins of the server you played on. Ask if they stream to PBBans and are running MD5 scans for Medal of Honor. If they come back with neither, you have your first step.

What are you talking about, BC2 had one of the best TV adverts I've seen for a game. To be fair, everybody complains about the Unreal 3 engine, I don't think you can search for Unreal 3 without also seeing someone mention AA. The Source engine on the other hand, goes through many upgrades, it's more akin to maybe what DICE is doing with frostbite where theres frostbite 1, 1.5 and now 2. Except it's been around the block a lot more. As far as I know Valve has only released the SDK for Source 2003, and hasn't done the same for the 2007 version with the improvements you find in many of their modern titles. I haven't read into the engine that COD4 uses so I'm not sure if it is the same way or not.

Are we positive on that, wording it as "zero day unlock" sounds to me like you will be able to unlock it normally sometime after the zero day, but we're giving you access on day zero. That's pretty crazy though, I mean theres that Pre-Order gun that floats around in 2142, that you see someone with every 2 years, but that will be crazy if you can only use those guns by picking them up off the dead! Awesome news! Will probably be the game for which FLOT reactivates their streaming account.

I have mixed feelings, I think a lot of the maps are garbage. The graphics and frostbite engine are its high points, is in game voip even working yet? I enjoy playing it in short bursts, but i get a dirty feeling when I'm done. It just isn't right One things for sure, I need to get a quadcore for Battlefield 3

You don't need to unhide it when your know the destination folder. Just paste C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\PunkBuster into you directory bar with your username and it will take you right to the folder hidden or not. Only benefit of unhiding AppData would be to have the folder show up in the user folder, which isn't necessary

I think you are a little confused on what it means when a server is streaming to PBBans. Just having a server with PB enabled does not mean it is streaming here. PB is the anti cheat created by EvenBalance. PBBans is a community that allows servers to stream it's detections and add bans to a master ban list that is then sent out to the rest of the servers that are streaming here. It offers further help by adding bans from submitted PBSS and MD5 confirmations to the master ban list. If a server just says they are "PB" streaming then it's probably a misnomer on their part and they think when they see a server say they are streaming to PBBans they are running with PB enabled. Which is not the same thing. There is no in game server browser that detects servers streaming to PBBans. A server with just PB enabled is pretty weak, because most detections will just trigger a 2 minute kick, a server streaming to PBBans will take that detection and add it to the master ban list and ban that player from all streaming servers.

The objective style gaming is pretty neat where you can do many things to help out your team, there were a lot of bugs last time I played, audio dropped out on multiple maps for everyone. People keep telling me that it's heavy teamwork orientated and I keep scratching my head in confusion because yes there are objectives that everyone can work towards and you can set yourself to escort a teammate who has to go blow this thing up and get bonuses for doing so but I don't see anybody actually talking to each other, or using communication. I kind of compare it to a world where zombies found out how to use teamwork because that what it feels like to me, nothing in the way you'll find teamwork in a good BF game but eh. I bought it and its ok I guess but that's my opinion. Some people do love it though.

Pretty sure there have been 10% Off codes floating around for the pre-order on Direct2Drive. I'm just not interested in their service.

I think I'm going to wait for the steam pre-order. I have BC2 and 2142 on EA downloader, but the instant the special edition goes on steam, i'll put my order in.

I don't mind games for windows live, used it in the DOW series and GTAIV, enjoy the achievements and such same with steam. What was worse in GTA was being forced to sign into Social Club (requirement removed in a patch) then GFWL. I think they are smarter than we think. If they release so much marketing hype about the multiplayer people get so built up with expectations that the true game just becomes a let down to all those expectations. If they don't tell us anything, we can only be blown away with the final product. I think they learned from BC2.

I'd make a post in the account questions and troubleshooting forum: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/account-questions-and-troubleshooting-private-f553.html Ask to be removed from your team account. It would probably benefit your old clan if you have one of them step up to become the master user for the old account so they can still stream under the clan name, if they have PB servers. Ask to have so and so made the master user if you have sub admins tied to it. And if you're starting up a new clan and have a PB enabled server, and fit the streaming requirements you might have to put in a new app with new information.

Looks pretty damn good, but damn has it been awhile. Wiki says it was officially announced in 2007. I remember seeing some screen shots for this a long time ago and completely forgot about it. I even watched a video of the RAGE HD mobile app and never even made the connection. Really excited for it, and I'm glad its come this far. I'm a big fan of the Fallout series and this just looks like a completely different twist that I would really enjoy.

You don't think they'll offer public beta servers the same way they have for other BF/EA games recently? I would think the GSPs would want to cash in on that unless EASY is strictly prohibiting it.
