I think you should of started steaming much earlier, COD4 has the most bans out of any game here. And probably because it offered the most for streaming admins to help catch cheaters. COD4 demo recordings are still being submitted pretty often. You should check out the MBi

PBSS is the only way to bust the majority of hackers? I think I'm going about this all wrong. :P If you're getting a lot of positive hits on your PBSS that's pretty awesome, and should only make you strive to stream here, so those cheaters will get banned form the whole community instead of local bans. But in reality there are just over 300 PBSS in the MBi for BF3, and over 1000+ for MD5 scans, and of course then there's the 13,000+ for EB detections. So I wouldn't call PBSS the best way. Streaming here lite or otherwise is the best place to start though.

And I would consider that a bannable screenshot. :facepalm: Anybody taking that out, clearly has an advantage over other players.

Yea, and I'd agree with you. There are some stylized directions DICE went with for the game, and maybe what we should push is for them to add these graphic options in a client patch, but until they give you the option to take it out in the settings. Taking it out yourself via a third party tool isn't so hot. We've seen players remove fog of war in every Battlefield game to date, and if I'm not mistaken we've seen said players have their PBSS added to the MBi in every BF game to date. But those are just some of the visual concerns, the real issue here are the other modifications being made, and those need a PB detection!

Sadly that's the only response I've seen. I hope PBBans takes a stance on this, for the submission of PBSS and so on. Any player that is removing Suppression Blurr, or Lens Flare is cheating. Only thing that would change that would be if DICE updated the game to allow players to do so in the graphics options, which they do not. To drive home this fact, any player that can go from to the same view without lens flare is cheating.

I mean this tool is on the order of removing fog of war in BF2, there are plenty of BF2 banned PBSS for that. I wouldn't use it. Editing game files to gain an advantage against your fellow BF3 player is a no no. And that's just on the visual side of things, the added ability to modify damage is crazy. We need a detection for this.

There's no such thing. However is your group streaming here? I've never even heard of UAC3. PBSS are kinda the last ditch effort. While the return rate has greatly increased since the days of BC2, I think they are largely considered circumvented these days, but still worth taking considering you still see submissions every now and then added to the fact there are some 200+ bans in BF3 from PBSS alone. Which isn't much, but it's something. We relie on PB detections, MD5 scans, and even still PBSS. What does UAC3 do, and who runs it stands to profit from it?

More than social features, ESN is the group behind battlelog. They're the ones who were contracted to make it, so hopefully we'll see more enhancements come out of this.

Yea but that's exactly the kind of stuff I wouldn't want them to do. They literally just broke the Battlelog matches system with their latest patch. Now I could give them some leway here, I'm not sure if DICE puts out the updates to battlelog or hired gun intimidatory but jeeze. DICE WTF moment, pretty sure they have a decree that says in every patch that goes out, something has to be broken. They need to spend more time on the multiplayer aspects, because they clearly aren't.

I really wish he would turn that around and not let a single battlefield game pass his desk that has a single player component. I'd prefer DICE focus their efforts on mutliplayer, because that's why I play their games, and ultimately buy their products. I was put off by the single player component in both BC2 and BF3.

I might have feared this too, but World of Tanks seems to be doing quiet well for itself, and for the clan gaming sphere too. Many groups set up clan pages, make clan emblems and can track matches through their system. They even have clan tags in game, something BF3 doesn't even have! Of course, implementing little things like this is where these FTP models make their money. But it's largely up to the developer how much they want to support the community, and I don't want to toss the FTP model in a negative light, it's all on the developer how far they go to support clans.

It would probably be easier, to maybe suggest it get implemented into Better Battlelog. a new filter option by 3rd party anti cheat site streaming would probably be implemented much quicker by them, than anything DICE made.

While that's good, you should definitely still register the card within 30 days of purchase. Something as mundane as logging in, and uploading an image of your receipt. There are so many people that buy Evga and other branded cards, have something go wrong and get upset on their forum of choice because their warranty defaulted to one year because they didn't do something as simple as register the card.

If I'm not mistaken, that player already has a linked GUID on the MBi, your best bet is reporting him to the group that runs that server, and if they don't already stream here recommend them to do so immediately.
