As a normal forum user.....you won't.....if you were a server admin with a streaming server.....you would have access to more player info.

Get a result of what? As I stated, PBBans bans GUIDs and not alias'. If your asking if the ban will be lifted, the player with that GUID has not appealed the ban.

Regardless of the naming convention and what each site offers and how they differ......both PBBans and PsB offer unique services that do differ. That is one of the main reasons we created the Hub....to offer server admin the opportunities to take advantage of both services. We are not in a competition with PsB.

PBBans adds bans based on PB GUIDs and not by alias or IP address. If the banned GUID is not yours, then you have nothing to worry about. Correct?

PBBans adds bans based on GUID.....not by player alias, ip, or in your case ET Pro GUID.

A suggestion would be to get with your leader to have your access upgraded. You must also be a server admin, but he could add you to his team account. This would help in your quest.

PBBans is here to assist server admin to manage their server's PB. The 7 folks that looked at your post may not be familiar with ET (such as me) and probably could not answer your question. PBBans also will not accept demos or PB ss submissions unless the server was streaming to PBBans first. With that said, may I ask the reason you are wanting an answer? Is this to solve a dispute? Best thing to do, if you are a server admin, is to get your server streaming to PBBans and submit the demos to get the individuals banned properly.

You can only request a few screenshots during a ten minute period.....otherwise, you would get no screenshot returns. Slow down your requests and see how that goes.

Don't keep up on the happenings at PBBans much :P We are in the processing of moving from our old server to 2 brand new servers. Patience is key during the next few days :)

Nothing to do with PunkBuster. That is a local server admin banning a player.

bigbanana, I think you are slightly mistaken and found these forums to vent on. Your issue is with the Insomnia server admin and not with PBBans.

All screenshots created by PunkBuster and stored on the game server are in .PNG format. When you download them to your computer it is always best not to open them with any graphics editing software (Photoshop, Paint, etc). If you wanted to attempt to brighten the image for better viewing, always keep the original and use the copy. This will prevent any unintentional alterations being made to the screenshot. Every screenshot has a unique ID (serial number) which is linked to the game server's PB logs. If these two do not match, the screenshot is considered altered and cannot be submitted as evidence.

With the losses of my own mother and brother this year, my symphathies to you and your family. I can only say that 2007 sucks....with the only good thing being the two new servers purchased for PBBans.

Banned because of what? ..... Point out what they are questioning. SS looks clean to me.....but we can't get a proper judgement of the screenshot unless the server is streaming to PBBans. This would help to prove if it was a tampered screenshot or not.

Everyone has to start somewhere. By you wanting to get your server setup correctly, that is the first step.....we can work with you to ensure that PB is configured correctly for streaming to PBBans.
