thats a cvar detection that is triggered by a reaction to this check pb_sv_cvar wall IN 0 - if the server was streaming that guid will automatically be added to our Master Ban Index, if not there is always a next time :) moral of the story - get streaming and give the genuine players who frequent your server some protection

In line with our zero tolerance policy re hacks - we actively search for known hack files and a claim of "testing" or not using them at the time will not get a removal off our Master Ban Index - testing hacks is an EvenBalance staff job and is in no way,shape or form the responsibility of server admins. Many hacks contain trojans to steal cd keys etc and are so deeply rooted into your system that a complete removal is often very hard to accomplish.

Thats if the hard drive disk is the targetted piece of hardware thats been tagged for the ban - if its not then you will have another HDD to play with but still have the original problem of not being able to play pb enabled servers - and i'm not quite comfortable with anyone giving advice on these forums on how to evade a global hardware ban

server timed out in hlsw - server must be up and running for PBBans hub streaming to work :P

as you can imagine,the inbox of evenbalance.com gets a lot of mails daily - the response times vary from problem to problem, but respond they invariably do - any global bans are issued and dealt with exclusively by EvenBalance and are nothing at all to do with PBBans - all we can offer in situations like this is a little advice and point you in the right direction :)

Any global ban that a person thinks was made in error can only be resolved via the trouble ticket system - the key word with any trouble ticket enquiry is patience - I have not heard of a global hardware ban being lifted before,maybe you will be the first - this type of ban is normally reserved for the repeat offenders who plague gaming servers.

all types of global ban are dealt with by EvenBalance staff via the trouble ticket system here click me - any type of global ban is not imposed lightly and as such very few are removed - i dont suppose your son-in-law might have a clue as to how this violation would suddenly crop up ? As it stands now - you need a new pc to play any PB supported game on pb enabled servers - or you can of course play servers that have pb disabled.

your servier is showing in the hub as not streaming, hence the pink colour - if you follow this troubleshooting guide it should resolve your problems - click me

running any beta o/s and gaming is not recommended - ms and pb offer no support for beta o/s and already we have had someone being flagged for a hack violation by pb which was later removed via the trouble ticket system - not worth the bother imo :)
