direct from the manual: "I keep getting kicked by PunkBuster for "Blocked O/S Privileges"? Please temporarily disable other security type programs you have running such as anti-virus, process guard, SDProtector, etc. to find out which of them is blocking PB's access to resources on your computer. You either need to run PB without the blocking program(s) or play on non-PB servers. Also make sure you run the game under an Administrator or equivalent account under Windows. If you do have access an admin account, you can right click on the application you want to run and select "Run As". that is quite correct IcheBAN the question i immediately asked myself was ..how do you demo a suspected hacker if your still hardware banned ... unless the server had pb disabled,which in that case i would say "what do you expect" :)

if i remember right your server admin at the time had a global ban flagged against him :P all water under the bridge now .... aliases have never meant anything to me as we ban by guid :D who is this pbbans admin btw?

our quality over quantity refers to the fact that every ban we put on the MBI has been verified as 100% genuine via streamed logs .. not sure what you mean about admin integrit,y but if you find cause to complain about any admin that is associated with this site then you may pass on any such complaint to me via mail or forum pm and it will be looked into with the same vigour as our ban submissions (dont forget to have all your evidence attached :) )

i suppose the best advice i can offer is to make a post here and make a complaint

none of which can be proved beyond doubt :) which is what pbbans is all about (quality over quantity) just as we have had faked log submissions and faked pbss submissions all gets found out in the end and the easiest thing in the world to fake is irc or msn logs .. not accusing anyone of doing this btw but at the end of the day posts quoting various convo's off various chat programmes etc do absolutely nothing for me without cast iron proof to back it up :wub:

even if it showed a blatant hack it would be useless for us as we only accept pbss and demo evidence from streaming servers .. this is so that the accomanying log entries can be cross referenced with the pbbans evenbalance repository logs and prove without doubt as to the validity of any following ban :)

doesn't take a genius to figure out why pb was dsabled :P and seeing as he set up pb and got caught out i guess he was no genius either :D

WiZXPR you have been told in another flame type thread to take it elsewhere .. you want to take part in pbbans stuff all well and good, if you dont then cool it,without proof any accusations are rendered useless .. here we deal in streamed logs that are tamperproof to back up any bans .. we also do a nice line in help for anyone with pb probs of any sort .. what we dont do, is allow our boards to get clogged up with rants of one type or another that are absolutely pointless without proof .. you may consider this a warning

anyone that has a cheat conviction that is backed up by cheat logs etc from streaming servers ends up in this group, once in there they are there to stay .. PBBans gives no help what so ever to anyone with a cheating past and that extends to forum membership as well :)

the multihack violation message is displayed when pb detects a multihack on your system .. taking a shot in the dark,given the limited amount of info that we have :P i would hazard a guess that a detected multihack is residing on your pc at the moment and when you join a pb enabled server it gets detected and gives you the boot. sharing cd keys is never a good idea no matter how friendly you are with someone .. 9 times out of 10 it ends in tears :) if you and your "friend" join a server using the same cd key and that server is pb enabled,if the admin has the default pb_sv_guidrelax setting, you will both get a kick for Duplicate GUID/CDKEY so, to sum up .. if you get kicked off every pb enabled server you join with a multihack violation message then a multihack is on your pc,in turn, that means either you or someone using your pc downloaded and installed it .. it does not have to be in use to be detected :D p.s. IP's do not enter the equation re pb violation kicks .. only guid's and they are based soley on your cd key
