From what I see he has not got a ban, just a really bad attitude that will probably elicit no help what so ever off people who may have been able to help. @officer020413 Open a troubleticket with EvenBalance and ask for help there, I would lose the attitude if I was you if you expect any positive input.

Thanks :)

Re-install PB or attempt a manual fix http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-cod4.php

Let's get one thing straight, right from the off :) streaming does not cause any kind of PB problem, so the root cause lies elsewhere. What is the server response to the command pb_sv_ver **update** If you check your logs you will see that I was able to join your server and run around for 5 minutes or so with no problem what so ever. I always follow a litttle ritual before every gaming session, by using pbsetup.exe to make sure my PB client is fully updated. Try it, it could make all the difference :) **update2** Your server logs are full of a repeated one line of spam :P log extract: Do you think its trying to tell you something :)

CoD5 Streaming Question
fozzer replied to SiCDude4Him's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Here is some essential reading for you to do :) http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49924 You will see that the auto cvar / md5 updates are an experimental feature that will only save updates in memory and not make a permanent change. This means that after a reboot you would lose those updated checks. I'll just take a minute to explain a thing or two about cvar / md5 scans and the PBBans method of concept that we employ. We are very fortunate here, in that we have a number of things that are unique to PBBans, one of them is Benway, our MCI (Master Config Index) manager. He is one of the most clued up and efficient people I know on all things cheat related, and his specific task for PBBans is to make sure that the cvar / md5 scans are bang up to date and optimised for maximum efficiency. We do not employ tons of useless scans as you will see if you make comparisons to whats scanned for elsewhere, we prefer the lean mean approach, and it works rather well. The choice is always there, for you to continue to use what you are now, if you are going to use PBBans scans, I would suggest you take a look at this; http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-cvarmd5guide.html Any questions re our cvar / md5 scans, just ask in one of the private forum sections you now have access to :) -
CoD5 Streaming Question
fozzer replied to SiCDude4Him's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
You can apply for a team account either before or after you have initiated streaming on your server. It is preferable if streaming is all set up before you apply because then everything kicks in instantly (forum upgrade to SGA / more forum access) as has already happened when your team account application was processed :) If streaming is set up after your team account is processed you would have had to wait for the auto updater to kick in and that can take a while. -
I see no team account application from you Bro. http://www.pbbans.com/account_application.php

COD:World at War question
fozzer replied to DeRanGed's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Saturday 12.6.2003 [8:15PM] Version 1.061 of the PB Server for RtCW has been released to our PB Master Servers for auto-update and to our website download page. This version includes a new PunkBuster facility called PB Restrictions. By default, PB Restrictions are Enabled; the pb_sv_restrictions setting may be set to 0 by server admins who do not wish for PB to kick for PB Restrictions. Kicking for PB Restrictions will be announced to players that join PB servers in the "WARNING: PB Kicks for ... All PB Restrictions on this server" message shortly after joining a server where PB Restrictions are Enabled. Initially, this facility will only work properly on Internet based PB Servers but will be extended to LAN servers in a future update. We expect to activate PB Restriction logging/kicking after the next PB Client update. Players who are kicked for a PB Restriction will be notified of the reason they were kicked. Additionally, PB Restrictions will be logged on all PB Servers even when kicking is disabled. In general, the PB Restriction facility represents a tighter set of parameters for playing on PB Servers. A player who fails a PB Restriction check should not necessarily be considered a cheater, so we advise PB Admins to consider initial PB kicks for restrictions to be warnings to the players who are kicked so that they may either honor the restriction by correcting their setup or play on other servers. However, we also encourage PB admins to deal with repeat offenders of PB Restrictions as they see fit. The initial group of restrictions will deal with unusual opengl32.dll access or hooking. Players whose systems do not return proper information about the game using a single opengl32.dll system file will be considered restricted by this new facility (Note: Anyone still trying to play PB games running under Windows NT v4 is going to be considered restricted by default). Future updates may require the most current version of DirectX/display drivers to be installed, etc. We will gladly accept and consider suggestions for future restriction possibilities from the community via email to [email protected]. Release Notes for PB Server v1.061: * new pb_sv_restrictions setting defaults to 1 (which means kicking for PB Restrictions is Enabled) * addressed bug in Linux PB Server that caused PB to not be able to restart itself (such as after an update) on some Linux servers * new pb_sv_lan setting defaults to 0; when set to 1, PB will behave as though it has no Internet access -
If a player is returning blank screenshots with a status code of BO, and the game is not minimised or in the background. Try opening a troubleticket with EvenBalance and see if they have any solutions. Troubletickets are not just for appeals on bannable violations, they are also used to troubleshoot PB problems a player may be experiencing with PB software. Troubleticket Link

There are numerous reasons why a pbss fails to capture or returns a black screenshot. A lot of them are not cheat related. Are you returning anything or none at all ? Whats the status code of the pbss ? The status codes on pbss are as follows: B0 = Application not active screen capture failed. B1 = Screenshot successfully attempted line present. B2 = Screenshot successfully attempted line not present. Reasons; B0 - The game is minimized or in the background. B1 - Successfully received. Can sometimes return a black SS. B2 - Is caused by one of many reasons (drivers, hardware, bad connection, etc).

How can I submit video prrof to pbbans about a cheater?
fozzer replied to -L3g3nd4ry-'s topic in Call of Duty World at War
By "in business" .. that means making money, we do not make a red cent here, whats donated is all ploughed back in. I have read my post a few times now, still fail to see what your on about. Why dont you code your own anti cheat solution, if PB is as worthless as you claim you would be a rich man in no time. Were did you get the 2 weeks thing from .. link ? Ever hear of silent detections ? -

How can I submit video prrof to pbbans about a cheater?
fozzer replied to -L3g3nd4ry-'s topic in Call of Duty World at War
If your recording was made on a none streaming server that is just running PB on its own, it may well be that the cheat used is not as new as you think :) Streaming is not a luxury, these days its a neccessity, and PBBans keeps cheat cvar / MD5 scans, bang up to date. I have heard that the recording a demo facility will be introduced in the next patch for w@w, for the life of me I do not know why it was left out in the first place. As for the cheat makers claims  their whole business is based on lies and deception. They would not sell many if the truth was told -

The onus is on you to keep tabs on any streaming application/account change request etc etc You had a reply 22 minutes after the application was submitted. click me Your submitted website did not like my IP for some strange reason (never happened to me before) You were told; . If you choose to ignore the response and do not re-apply then theres not a lot we can do. (and yes .. I do think your out of line) Yep, fully agree, thats why you had a response to your application in 22 minutes. (it can take anything up to 24hours but we do our best to respond as quickly as possible) Just as a sidenote one clan should not really stream anothers servers unless a special arrangement has been made with a PBBans staff member, it could lead to major headaches in the future for both clans, based on past experience. and I still get the same response when trying to view your site; -

All you need now is a streaming server :P
-
The EvenBalance result is in; In short, that means the violation is valid and the ban will not be removed from the MBI.
-
Anything is possible I guess, the good thing about EvenBalance is that if they find that a false positive has occurred they are not afraid to hold up their hands and say so, but they do need some help from the ticket submitter, hence my previous post.
-
Just as a sidenote. A troubleticket to EvenBalance should contain a lot more info than; I have updated the ticket with the relevant ban information. What should also be included is a list of all applications that were running when the bannable violation was first raised, otherwise no one at EB will have a clue as to what may possibly have raised a false positive when they are looking at possible causes. There are currently 116 bans on the MBI for violation #79461 and no false positives have been recorded.

issues getting streaming
fozzer replied to killerwithaspoon's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Mystery solved. We are all looking for your current display name and the application was put forward by coastalcalikid82. One application put forward and at the time of submission, nothing worked on the website. http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?sho...2&hl=131441 If a team account submission application is considered too much hassle, then its hardly worth discussing anything further.
